Great food and service but the story is the portion size. My Chicken fried steak was tasty but also the size of a baseball glove. Easily two meals. Whiskey pours were also generous and there are plenty of TVs to catch the game. Would definitely stay at the hotel again just to enjoy the Tavern.

Truly the only place locals still go to eat any longer in town the service is tiptop and food is fresh and efficient. Finally perfected the perfect breakfast sandwich after a little trial and error.

The wait staff were great but there happened to be a group of 22 people so we ended up waiting over an hour at our table to get food. IMHO once you seat some one there is an implied level of service. If you knew you were short on capacity you should either not seat someone or at least mention there would be a long delay if they were seated. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were quite large.

I have been going to the Club for over 20 years. The recent upgrades are great (carpet, chairs, lighting..). Serving on the wooden planks and fries in a metal container are a not needed change. The wood is a breeding ground for bacteria – and seems like a lot more work as well as difficulty to cary The prices went up, perhaps due to the, change from plates, etc.
I highly recommend going back to plates – if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Food and service are awesome as usual.
Finally keep the Heinz ketchup!!

We went for lunch the club sandwich was what you’d expect, but when you paid it with smoking hot sweet potatoe fries it was outstanding. Then there was the bison black and blue burger cooked to a perfect medium rare with onion rings that were an a+. Last was the make your own fried egg, sauteed mushroom, fried onions and a fruit plate that was heaped up and beautiful!
Our server Hays was outstanding and friendly. Add that to the affordable pricing,,,,, we’ll be back!

Got right in with our group which was nice. Service from the waitress was really quite poor. Took our drink order and after some delay got most of them. Never got mimosas until well after food came after multiple attempts to remind the server. We were there quite a while and had to track her down for our one and only coffee refill the entire time. The food saved the morning a bit. Solid chicken fried steak but everything else was pretty just ok. Can’t see going back anytime soon.

The atmosphere was great, but the service was very slow from the moment I walked in. The staff seemed disengaged and not very friendly, which took away from the overall experience. I ordered the salmon—while the flavor was good, it was a bit dry. Service makes a big difference, and a friendly attitude always enhances the dining experience (and the tips). Unfortunately, that was missing here.Seems that locals get better and preferred service. Remember, travelers and those on business tip better. Provide good service and you will get appreciated.
