The Club is a totally unique restaurant, bar and lounge, located in historic downtown Sandusky, Ohio. We welcome singles, couples, families and groups both large and small. Enjoy drinks and food in our main dining room which features a large bar, lots of seating and a great inviting decor. Or enjoy some food and drink with friends and family downstairs in The Cellar which features a full bar and is equipped for all your dining and special event needs including private dining areas. The Club also has a large outdoor heated deck and huge patio area featuring lots of seating for your dining and drinking enjoyment, weather permitting of course.

Our Erie County Builder’s Association Executive Committee held our dinner meeting at The Club in Sandusky tonight, 1/27/26, and it was a great experience from start to finish.
I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and it did not disappoint — cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Most of our group went with either the veal parm or chicken parm, and I heard nothing but great reviews around the table.
A special shoutout to Kylie, who did an excellent job taking care of our group. Attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly — exactly what you want when hosting a dinner meeting.
Highly recommend The Club for a great meal, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.

I was greatly surprised…Previous posts were pretty much spot on. Perfectly cooked (requested rare) Midwest Ribeye with chef’s potatoes and Asparagus. The server missed my salad until the end. I wish the bartender had been a little more attentive to my empty glass both times, but other than that it was a great experience.
I think the ambience and choices of seating is phenomenal. I chose to sit at the bar as it was the middle of the dinner rim and I was a single. I’d love to bring my lovely lady here. Outdoor seating in the couches is especially exceptional, the upper outside deck is equally appealing.

The service was truly excellent — 10/10. Our server was kind, attentive, and did everything she could to make things right. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the same standard. The pasta was badly overcooked, and even after sending it back, it came out just as mushy the second time.
We really appreciated that the dish was taken off the bill and that a complimentary meal was offered — very professional handling. However, for what it was, the meal was too expensive. The food quality simply didn’t justify the price. Sadly, even with the great service, I wouldn’t come back.

So i consistently come to this restaurant and for years have absolutely loved it but tonight while i was visiting, the servers took it upon themselves to text my siblings mom and say that i was on a date with their baby dad and low and behold this is my step dad. They called me names and discussed my personal life. And so while i was leaving i decided
Make sure i put it in check and it made it very clear for them to all mind their business. I find it absolutely disgusting that i am a kind person who brings money into this establishment and I’m being talked about. So tomorrow i will reach out and ask to speak to the main manager. I am server and i have been one for a very long time and we gossip, but id advise the serves of your restaurant to be more discrete. It’s embarrassing for your establishment and just not a good look. This is literally my favorite restaurant so im sad but oh well. Please consider hiring better people who don’t judge and won’t make ur restaurant look bad

I went there for Dinner with extended family. Kylie our server was friendly and professional. She went out of her way to make sure our dining experience was pleasant. Our party of Nine did not have anything less than great food. From Tomahawk Steak to Prime Rib Friday specials, all were cooked to their culinary perfection. One member of the party remarked, “Tell the warden I’m ready to go”. If you are staying at cedar point or traveling to Sandusky this is a must stop location.

The building was originally an orphanage. Then it was a private club. In the last several years it evolved into a great bar and grill. I had stuffed peppers and Cole slaw, both were excellent. Service was good and the ambiance was very interesting. Paintings and old photos cover the walls. Downstairs is another bar with couches as well as booths for private parties. The outside ding area is 2 stories.

Wife and I took a trip to put-in-bay and Cedar point, made a weekend out of it. We wanted to have one nice dinner, and we sure picked the right spot. I was after a nice big steak… and for a tomahawk, $55 dollars is a steal. I got it blackened and asked for a horseradish cream sauce. They knocked it out of the park!! Thanks for being exactly what we wanted. My wife got a New york strip. The sides were also delicious. It was a great experience and also a cool place.

Found this place while staying at the Great Wolf Lodge. Came to The Club for our son’s 6th birthday. He loved it. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was excellent. While we’ll never stay at Great Wolf again, we will return to The Club.

We had an amazing dinner at The Club! The eggplant was in my top 3. It had a great crust without being greasy and the sauce was excellent. It was large enough for 2 also! The included side salad was huge and drinks weren’t terribly priced. The bread was the only disappointing item but it was still fairly good. We were seated in the charming basement area and our server was great!
