Only popped in here as I was doing some work nearby and wanted something quick for lunch. Check out the colour on those chips,a lot of chippies could learn from these guys, these were cooked to perfection not those crappy albino chips that other places serve you cause they’re too busy to wait for the chips to cook properly these were properly done. That goes for the battered sausage too nice crisp batter, this was a small portion too so plenty for a lunch. Cannot recommend enough, can’t wait until I need to return to Exeter to service that equipment again as it’ll mean I can dive in here again!

Really dissapointing and certainly not value for money. I went for value cod £8.00 and chips with mushy peas. The fish batter was the worst I’ve had in a long time. Thicker than rhino hide with a partially cooked slimey layer against the fish. Almost like a fritter. The fish was ok, but I couldn’t eat the batter. Chips were average at best. Peas were watery and tasteless.

Very disappointed. Saturday 6th October 2018 Worst ever inedible batter as thick and doughy despite being cooked to order. Chips scrappy. Fish was cooked and very nice. Always used to recommend but no more.

Delicious, fish cooked fresh for me! Chips were a bit cold but flavoursome and not too oily. Scampi was lovely and we had a battered sausage too which was covered in crispy batter and very tasty. Menu has changed since last the photo of it, and is now marginally more expensive.

I got a regular chips and gravy and it was great! Brilliant chips, fresh and the gravy was the perfect consistency too. The staff were friendly and the meal was cheap. 5*

I ordered a medium fish and chips through deliveroo and the food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. The fish was lovely, fresh and hot although on the small side for a medium size. The chips were not so great, they were barely lukewarm and tasted like they’ve been sat there for a while. Again the portion size for a medium meal was not great.
