A great little local bar owned by a cool dude named Brian. He has invested a lot of time and money in this place. I see Brian removed the benches outside the bar..Due to the homeless panhandler’s. These people would sit their all day. I called the cops twice on them. Loud annoying and they make you feel uncomfortable they really embarrassed themselves.

My wife and I stopped in after the Jeff Tweedy show at the Patchogue Theater because I’ve been curious to see what it looks like.
We both had to show the really nice door man our ID (I’m 64 and she’s 62).
The place looks great, and reminds me of a few beloved bars from my younger days. I’ll be back for a drink sometime soon.
Does The Clifton have a Happy Hour?
Best wishes!

As a Patchogue resident, I find their social media to be truly disgusting and at the same time fascinating. I’ve never seen a local business trash the town they reside in… so much. Ownership must be really smart. I’ve never been and never plan on going.

Absolutely loved the environment of this bar. The black light atmosphere with neon paint on the walls gives a fun vibe! I met up with 2 friends and got 3 drinks.

For a first time there it gave me a wonderful first impression!

The bar is closed on a Saturday night, second time coming to this bar and it was not open. Seems like it’s fully closed for good.

Classic dive bar in the heart of the village. If you go in not expecting much, then you won’t be disappointed.

The owner sounds like they peaked in high school yet talks like a boomer. They STILL have their Instagram on private after the backlash from their comments. It’s almost like you should take some accountability for your actions! How their bar considered LGBTQ+ friendly is beyond me.

A fun dive bar with a mixed crowd. Friday night when we went it was free drinks for ladies 8pm – 10pm. They had a dj and all. It was a lot of fun. They have a pool table to be played with a nice mannequin dressed up above the pool table that is hilarious. The men’s bathroom is dark but looked better that the original ply wood with writing everywhere and jail cell like with no stall walls. The bartenders are very nice and love to have fun with the customers. Many regulars you can see going there.

Get a curtain for the men’s bathroom. Some men want privacy. For anyone, but for not everyone, yeah ok. You’re wasting your money on a port-a potty instead of getting a curtain. Not asking for a door. A curtain. The owner has money to keep this place running, then he can get a a CURTAIN. Not trans male friendly with bathrooms. Also, GIRLS DO COKE IN THE BATHROOM too and they still have a door. This place is a joke. I’m going to the catch 🙂
