Plenty of patio seating. They let us have our dog. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive.Their wings were the best wings I’ve ever had.
i live right across the street so the Clevelanderbis one of my go to spots. the food is amazing, the bartenders are always so kind and the vibe is a perfect mix of a younger and older crowd. I take my family here to visit and they love the atmosphere and amazing, food. Their pickles and philly egg rolls are top notch. Can’t go wrong with a fry basket, and their salads are so good. favorite cleveland hangout
The server Kenzie is awesome! I ordered the Westside Burger! I absolutely love Cleveland so I’m excited to try out this restaurant. The drink is absolutely delicious. It’s right downtown. I just came here for a quick bite to eat. The perfect place for that is here at the Clevelander.
Amazing food(highly recommend the wings!!) , even better drinks and great staff! The baseball home opener had this building packed all day but i stillreceived my drinks in a timely fashion and got great service- will be stopping by again! Julia and Mic were amazing on the bar at their upstairs spot
The food is way over priced for the quality. The menu says pick 3 apps for 9.50 and they charged 10.00 on the bill. There was at least 6 people working and 1 girl who was on her phone about 90% of the time. The beer was decently priced but it was happy hour. It was pretty clean but cleaning the partians while we’re sitting at the table is not necessary,we don’t need cleaner on our food or to be bothered by it. They were friendly when the did stop by the table which is the only reason for any stars really.
This bar has good food, but could be organized better. I don’t understand why they don’t have servers and people have to seat themselves, walk to the bar to order and walk back to the bar to check on/pick up my food. This time i was outside, so I had to walk back into the bar several times and still got no food. I just ended up canceling my food, drank my beer and left. There are people sitting at the bar and so, if you want to order anything, you have to stand behind those people, crowding the aisle. The bartender with the short, blonde cut is wonderful! The shorter young lady with the curly hair…not so much.

Be patient! This will be the 3rd time of many that I visit the Clevelander. I’ve experienced this bar at the slowest, and the most packed and the service always lets you know if their will be a wait on food. The food is good depending on what you get. I have gotten a great burger, my boyfriend had a delicious sandwich called “Mayor of Tremont”, but my friend had the boneless wings that were a little dry. Beer, service, and foods are great in the end and I’m always happy I went. See you soon, Clevelander!
have lived in eight states. I have traveled to nearly forty, and have eaten in every one.The Clevelander sits on the precipice of greatness! The worst nachos I’ve ever had. Soggy and chewy and greasy, how is that possible? But believe it or not, that was the best part of the meal.Grilled cheese, every 12 year old kid knows how to make one, yet the cook here doesn’t. He/she/it must’ve been only 11. One side of the sandwich greasy, the other side completely dry. The cheese wasn’t melted. An absolute disgrace. Have some pride in your job! I’m not sure it cost $2.00 or $10.00. Whatever the price, it was to much. All I can say, if your going to serve bad food, make sure it’s the worst you can make! The Clevelander accomplished just that.
Great place for game days. Lauren the bartender and other bartenders are amazing…ALWAYS looks out for us. Great food great music. Amazing place to vibe at in all aspects
It’s kinda late in Cleveland and we are looking for a place to eat downtown. We wander into the Clevelander around 11pm. The place is hopping for a late Wednesday night. We ask Lauren the bartender if the kitchen is still open and she says it is. Did I mention it is hopping? Because Lauren is a whirling dervish behind the bar. She never seems to forget an order and is super friendly to every customer, even us, who are from out of town. My wife orders a Cobb salad and proceeds to tell me how good the chicken on the salad is. That would be Devin, who is the cook. In most establishments, the food quality can tail off closer to closing time but not here. I would highly recommend The Clevelander. Say high to Lauren for us if you do drop in.
