Clerks House is a gem. What a great addition to the area. The coffee is great and they bake fresh naturally leavened bread & pastries daily. All tied together with a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional hospitality from the staff. Shout out to Paul who remembered me by name after just one visit. The location is conveniently located close to home, but I’d travel further even if it wasn’t. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new morning stop. If you get a latte the foam art is elite

We tried Clerks House on Friday afternoon for brunch. I the Nordic sunrise and it was delicious! The only thing was it came with arugula which was not listed on the menu… and I am one of the few people who hates arugula lol so I had to take it off.

Walked in to get a pick me up for breakfast, chose somewhere new and came here. Place was nice and people were friendly, no problem there. My biggest issue was the fact that I ordered 2 drinks in like 8oz cups and a breakfast burrito, tell me why I genuinely spent $30 on something i could’ve gone anywhere else for or even made it at home for half the cost. I understand it’s a small business and food cost will be higher but I can’t tell you anything about the place that makes the value of the food worth it and I hate to say that since the employees were super nice but I felt robbed paying for that tbh.

First time ordering here. I got the Nordic Sunrise. When I got home I discovered that it was missing the smoked salmon and balsamic drizzle. Hey, mistakes happen. Called the cafe and spoke with one of the chefs. He told me to come right back and go directly to the kitchen. The open faced sandwich was outstanding!! Staff made things right without hesitation. If the rest of food is this good better start looking for expanding. Will definitely be back.

Interior is done really well and cozy. House made focaccia, hand pies and tomato oil are fantastic. Prices are a little higher than average, but it is worth it for the quality you get. Service is always fantastic and friendly.

The cold brew is perfect, sandwiches are definitely meal sized, and the sourdough/focaccia are better than most of the ‘pillar’ bakeries around Syracuse. The only thing I’d like to see change is to charge for wifi. There have been multiple laptop squatters each time I visit. I’ve only been able to sit down once. I’d order more if I didn’t have to take it to go. We all know that you think taking up space, alone, in a small Cafe doing your super important work makes you look cool. What it really tells us is that no one loves you.

What a fantastic bakery and cafe! Several homemade bread options. Nice cafe art! Unique menu with vegetarian options. The quiche was different but still good. Cozy decor. Quick, excellent service.
