For lunch today, my parents and I tried out The Clay Oven in Downtown St. Thomas! The food was outstanding!! My Mom and I had the butter chicken and it was fantastic!!! Followed by Gulab Jamun for dessert. The food came out quickly to our table. Loved every minute of it! We will definitely be back to this place!!!

What a great experience! This was our first time trying this restaurant and I’m so happy we did. The service was incredible. We told him we were new to Indian cuisine and he guided us through recommendations based on what our likes and dislikes were and he did not disappoint. Sooo much food! So much flavour! He even brought over after dinner sweets as a thank you to us for giving them a chance. I will go back again for sure. Thank you Clay Oven for your hospitality and excellent cuisine!

Clay Oven is one of my favourite restaurants. The butter chicken has a different flavour than anywhere else – it is sweet, but they can make it spicy if you ask! But I highly recommend ordering it as is! The paneer is delicious, as well as the onion pakora and the samosas, oh and the coconut naan!!! What sets this restaurant apart from others is the staff! They are all SO kind. They always put a little something extra for me to try in my take- out, which is so nice and if they have ever missed something in my order – they made sure I got it free the next time. Thank you to the chefs and the staff!!

My son and I were in St. Thomas for an appointment today and decided to have dinner before heading back to London. We chose The Clay Oven, and it turned out to be an incredible experience! The service, the food, the cleanliness, and the ambience — everything was flawless! The host made us feel like true VIPs, and the chef personally came to our table to ensure our meal was perfect. It was outstanding from start to finish. I highly recommend the Clay Oven to anyone seeking one of the best dining experiences you’ll ever have. We will definitely be back. Absolutely fantastic!

We ordered takeout for my son’s birthday last week. Third time ordering from the restaurant. Very happy with the quality/flavour of the dishes and the owner is super nice. Recommend the karai lamb, madras beef/lamb and tandoori chicken, garlic naan. Great to have a spot like this on the map in St Thomas – make sure to bring them some business so they stick around:)

Fantastic dining experience! Our first time visiting The Clay Oven and it will not be our last. The food was delicious. The service was first class. The owners are so friendly. We had the Set meal for Two, which included Vegetable Samosa, Vegetable Pakora, Chicken Korai, Chana Masala, Pulao Rice & Plain Naan. Lots of food and great value for the price. I highly recommend The Clay Oven as St. Thomas is growing in culinary diversity.

Devi and her husband run a fantastic restaurant! Food is delicious and flavourful. Best Indian restaurant in St. Thomas! Dishes come out of the kitchen hot and fast. Service with a smile! The place is a must try if you love Indian food. Tip… ask about the mango lassi. It’s a fabulous drink.

This is the best butter chicken I’m ever going to have in my entire life. I even cheated on Clay Oven a couple weeks ago and got butter chicken from another restaurant and I was so sad. Never again!!
I can’t even express the flavour other than amazing. It’s a bit sweet but in the best way. Not spicy which is good for me. It is filling but won’t make you feel gross after. It’s so good. And the Naan Bread A MUST!! The staff here and so kind and helpful. This is by far my favourite restaurant in St. Thomas.
