Went here for Valentines Day and it didn’t disappoint. Had been trying to stop in for a while so when Valentines day was getting close I had to snag a reservation quickly. Typical Park Ave house restaurant. Nice bar up front , which was really hoping that night. Seems like a cool local bar to stop in on a Wednesday or Thursday. We started with some Homemade Chicken Tenders and Buffalo Califlower which were both fantastic. The Califlower wasn’t heavily like other places and the homemade blue cheese was out of this world . For mains my wife had surf and turf and I had a Bone-In Pork Chop with was absolutely amazing and we finished with some cheesy Eddie’s Carrot Cake and a Chocolate creme brulee. If you want a nice dinner out or celebrate a special occasion make The Classic Kitchen a must visit on your list

Stopped in to Classic Kitchen and Cocktails on a Saturday night and by chance they had an open table (it ended up being packed). The service was great, but the food was amazing. We were so happy that we stopped in and found one of our Rochester favorites.

went with a group of girlfriends, 7 of us. the owner was present and very nice. ALL of our meals were amazing. The portions were large and the food was made to perfection. It is not a large place but it feels cozy and intimate. I will return. I had Coconut Curry Stir Fry which was fried tofu, rice noodles, chickpeas, coconut curry, carrots, peppers, onions. the meal was huge, the sauce was decadent and I plan to get this for take out for both my husband and I to share.

Stopped here on our way through from Albany to Indiana. Was hoping for delicious gluten free food and some cocktails. We were pleasantly surprised that we found lots of delicious things to eat, but we got the Friday night specials for everybody we were dining with.
Stopped in with two kids (4 and 8) and it was perfect. They had lemonade and shared a fish fry!
The prices were surprisingly well priced.

We had reservations with friends for Valentine’s Day. One of our friends has celiac disease, and they love this spot because the menu is totally safe for her. We had shrimp cocktail and a corn and crab dip appetizer with GF bread. Then all four of us ordered the same entrée – 6 oz. filet with scallops, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Finally, we chose various desserts including carrot cake, crustless cheesecake and crème brûlée. Everything was spectacular and perfect portions. None of us had leftovers because we loved every bite! The owner was checking in with the patrons and serving water. We were very impressed with the whole experience, and we can’t wait to go there again!

Hands down one of my favorite Rochester restaurants. Meals that melt in your mouth. Great staff. Cozy environment. Amazingly kind owner. Arancini, pasta dishes, pot roast that melts in your mouth, steak cooked to perfection. Absolute yes.

The gluten free menu is phenomenal. Anything you get will be tasty. The service is friendly and personable and the bar tender will make every effort to make happy and drunk.
We love the owner, who is often on premises when we visit.
Very “Red Fedele” vibes.

Came here because of a glowing recommendation from a friend. It did not disappoint. Food was spectacular. We came on a Saturday evening and were surprised it wasn’t busy at all. We were able to get a table immediately and chose to sit outside. Service was great, drinks good, all food fantastic. I can’t think of any criticisms. Also, almost everything on the menu is gluten free! We will be back.

Wow! We were just blown away last night by our most delicious ,gluten free meal honestly EVER !!
For those of you who don’t know living with someone who is allergic to gluten, and choosing gluten free as a healthy way of life makes eating out a tricky experience . We are in many areas with “food scenes” living in both Maryland and Florida and travel extensively ,and have never seen so much attention given to gluten free dining AND being DELICIOUS!
We ordered and shared a wedge salad ( perfect )
Then a classic pot roast which brought me back to how my mother prepared it 50 years ago …. melted in my mouth , the Bucatini bolognese-the best ever and a side of fries prepared in their own fryer !
Thank you to this appreciated detailed menu -we will be back !

We recently met at Classic Kitchen & Cocktails in Rochester for a family-style meal (catered per our request) after a funeral. I can’t say enough about the staff and their care. From the moment we arrived, they made everything smooth and stress-free, which meant a lot during this tough time.
Drew and his team were professional, compassionate, and attentive, but never intrusive. They managed our large group easily. Food and drinks were served quickly, and everyone felt comfortable. The family-style dishes were not only generous but also delicious. They were exactly what we needed to connect and share a meal.
It’s uncommon to find a restaurant that combines efficiency with such warmth, but Classic Kitchen & Cocktails truly did. We are very grateful for their hospitality and kindness.
