Love me an old school dog place. This one connects to a Chicago dive bar. It’s an automatic one star deduction for the lack of a poppy seed bun. I’ve got rules. The tomato was a little weak but good sport pepper action. The hot dog itself was tasty with a good snap. The mustard was laid with a heavy hand. The tots were crispy but thought the fry oil could use a bit of a refresh. Solid fastball down the middle for a hot dog if you are in the area. My Search for the top dog continues.

When you ask for well done – not only do they take orders upon request – but they can delivery it you directly to the bar next door.
Local food, delicious hotdogs, the perfect pizza puff, and and environment that you can wear pajamas in to work and still be treated with respect.
Oh – and Bill puts 90s/80s music videos on the TV- great for a change up to sports and the ugly news of Chicago.

Stopped in here for food the other night and really enjoyed our time! We got a Philly Cheesesteak and a Chicago-atyle hot dog. The food was amazing and we’d go back here again!

Visiting Chicago for the 1st time and everyone said I needed to at least try a Chicago Dog. Several locals said to try out Clark Street Dogs so we did.
My friend love his dog. I liked it but when I compared to a Seattle Dog I’d fell a bit short.

5 stars all around for vibe, taste and bang for your buck. This place is one of the OG Italian beef spots. Definitely grab an Italian beef “baptized” with hot and/or sweet peppers. Plus they’ve got a full bar attached next door. Great establishment.

Great Vienna Beef Chicago Style Hot Dogs! Clark Street Dogs is amazing, fresh and delicious, sport peppers are amazing, perfect neon green relish, etc. NON Poppy Seed Buns, but fresh, good hot dog buns.
Plenty of French fries per order with them spilling out of the container from the abundance. Crisp with just the perfect amount of salt without over doing it.

Stopped in the middle of a hot afternoon to grab a quick late lunch and a beer. I got tempted by the House Clark Street hot-dog and couldn’t resist a second one it was just so good. Simple, well balanced with the condiments. I had it at the bar with a beer…after testing a few! I was so warmly welcomed, that I felt at home. Chicago is really an amazing place filled with nice people and a very positive energy!

Best italian beef in the city, in my opinion. The cheese fries are one of my go to comfort foods now as well! Great value and fast service, no complaints here. The attached bar is nice as well if you want to go for a cheap pint or cocktail.
