Who doesn’t like a roadside fish & chip hut. Well this one’s a bit more! All the seafood here is done by hand. Fresh home cut fries and spectacular service. The owner is a first responder so I know he puts as much care into his food as he does the community so I couldn’t wait to try the local sourced goods. I’m just a little embarrassed I haven’t tried it sooner.

I had a 2 piece fish and fries. If you like hand battered english style fish (almost like a beer batter) than you have to take a trip over here. I was impressed with the price $15 (taxes in) for a 2 piece meal. I had the privilege of meeting the owner Andrew. He cooked my meal, super nice down to earth guy who takes pride in his work. We talked about some of the local scenery and hiking trails. So now I have a whole weekend planned for the next visit. I’m really looking forward to bringing the family here to try the rest of his food, he does it all!

It’s refreshing to find a homemade gem that doesn’t break the bank. Thanks Andrew for being a staple in the community! See you soon my friend!!

Another great add to the seafood hit list of the Maritimes. Just a modest takeout spot but man do they heap on the clams! Wait times can be lengthy when busy but pretty worth the wait. Great stop if you’re visiting the Saint Andrew’s area for sure.

We were told so much about this place so we went and ordered the seafood platter. The service was super friendly and the wait time was short. Food was hot and typical of any deep fried place. Saying that the haddock was amazing along with the scallops. I’m not a fan of clams so they were just okay for me.

It’s a bit of a wait but the fish and chips are quite nice. Their lobster roll, while expensive, is one of the better ones I have tried so far in new brunswick. I also like how the tax is already calculated in the prices. Theres also a bunch of picnic benches to sit at. Washroom on site.

If you don’t mind eating outdoor, then it’s a wonderful experience. Seafood platter easily fed 2 people and only $29!
Already took a bite of the fish before the photo lol!

Busy busy busy! Be prepared for a 30+ minute wait, but it’s worth it. Parking on the side of the road because of overflow is a good sign in this case. You know it’s going to be good!

Kind staff, easy ordering, and perfect clams and chips. Reasonably priced as well.

This little roadside takeout is a gem! When I am seaside I always make sure to get a feed of fresh seafood. This spot didn’t disappoint. It’s busy and there will be a wait but it is so worth it.

We stopped here on our way to The Algonquin Resort. Food tasted great, however, it was our first day in the Maritimes and have no comparison to yet (hence the 4-stars). The prices were reasonable and staff were friendly and warm. After a 16-hr drive, we really liked the outdoor picnic style of dining. Highly recommended if you are in the St Andrews area.

THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
Delicious quality food, massive portions, very affordable, and quick.
They looked slammed, parking lot was full and cars lined up along the road. they took about 5-7 minutes to make two fish and chip meals and a fish burger meal. Huge portions and delicious.
GO TRY THEM NOW.

A local recommended us to come eat here. Came for dinner after exploring Saint Andrews. We got the seafood platter to share. It was more than enough as the portions were fairly big. Upgraded the Fries to a poutine to share as well. It was delicious, big pieces of haddock, and good ratios of fried clams and scallops. It was pretty busy around 6 pm on a Saturday evening and the order did take a bit of time to come, about 35 minutes. We didn’t mind so much as we were sitting by the red benches and resting, however if someone is really hungry, it can be quite the wait. There were a few benches around to sit in which was nice. The washroom they had was also fairly kept decent. Would recommend if visiting the area, would’ve never tried, but the local person did, so thank you to that.
