Welcome to The City Creamery! We pride ourselves in making the freshest small batched handmade Ice Cream, just like the good ol’ days using real cream, quality ingredients, rock salt + ice; 5 gallons at a time! We make all of our ice cream in shop, everyday, producing one of a kind flavors varying from traditional to unique. Currently we have three ice cream shops. Two in Montana; Virginia City and West Yellowstone and our newest shop is in Cave Creek, Arizona. We also have an ice cream truck that we take to festivals/concerts/special events and more! We are open seasonally in Montana (May- September) and year round in Arizona! We hope to see you at one of our locations soon!

We enjoyed trying out this ice cream shop! The service was very good! You can sample flavors ahead of time to make sure you like what you get. They make their ice creams and have some good flavors that you don’t find everywhere – like huckleberry or prickly pear. The dark chocolate was really good.

Very nice workers and the quality of ice cream is amazing. All of the staple flavors are made in house plus an additional flavor of the week making it always fun to visit regularly. The service is quick and the staff is very helpful. Honestly can’t go wrong with any of the flavors offered.

This place is AMAZING!! Some of the best ice cream I have ever had. It’s definitely worth signing up for the reward club. The people working here are always such a pleasure to see and talk to. The service is the best!! Midnight Chocolate, mint chip, and salted Carmel are all great choices, in my opinion. The serving sizes are definitely worth the prices. When you walk by this place, it smells so good, like fresh made waffle cones. I can not express my love for this store!! I always look forward to going to Cave Creek just for ice cream at this place! Thanks for being a great place!!

Wow! Such a great place to get a little ice cream. Easy to give this spot a 5-stars with how friendly they were, the fact that the scopes were very generously sized, and that they have the old-school homemade ice cream makers.
I tried a little bit of the cookies & cream, huckleberry, and pistachio. All were delicious but my favorite always seems to be cookies & cream. Just a personal flavor thing.
I tried the cookies & cream in a waffle bowl which was good too. Again, very generous scopes inside a big waffle bowl which I appreciated!
Also, very clean inside which was great. Thank you all!
If you visit, I hope you find some flavors you enjoy as much as I enjoy cookies & cream

The old woman behind the counter was extremely rude. I ordered two scoops of ice cream for me and my daughter to share. I asked her for a separate cup so that it would be easier for us to eat, and she would not give me one. I offered to pay for it and she still refused. Very rude and it did not make any sense. Two scoops in one cup or one scoop in 2 cups what’s the difference? I was willing to pay. We walked out. Hope it was worth it.

We love walking down the The City Creamery after dinner from time to time! I love that they sell locally roasted and made cold brew too!

THE most amazing ice cream shop!!! All of the flavors are so good! You can just tell everything is made so fresh and with the best ingredients!! The owners and people who work there are incredibly nice and welcoming, it was the best experience all the way around! My entire family fell in love with their ice cream and we will absolutely be back.

Got to enjoy the unique flavors and the homemade goodness. I found that none of the flavors really blew me away, maybe they weren’t as sweet as I expected, but you can’t go wrong with ice cream anyway.
Expect to spend $5 for the smallest scoop. I didn’t realize they had toppings until looking at other reviews. I shoulda got some.
