We were looked after by Marco who was very attentive without being intrusive. He made an excellent suggestion for our wine which my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed.
Strongly recommend booking. It’s no wonder this place is popular. Will definitely visit again.
The set lunch menu was incredible value at £38 for three courses and a glass of wine/soft drink. All the dishes were delicious and nicely presented. The location is lovely too – next to the beautiful circus of Georgian townhouses.
It’s larger than it looks as there is a bigger dining section downstairs.
Definitely book a table as it is popular.
Can’t wait to return!
Service was impeccable. Will defintely go back if I go back to Bath!!
We went for a 2 course menu, they have 2 vegetarian options as well.
I had the mussels and the fish, incredibly big portions.
For the vegetarian options, one of them was the flower courgette, which was tasty, but would say the dish is kind of small, just one courgette flower.
All in all it was tasty and a good experience.
Keep in mind that you will also have to pay a service fee per person, which is 4 pounds per person.
I ordered the steak, which unfortunately lacked flavour, and the truffle croquettes had no noticeable taste of truffle and were quite dry. The food overall still needs some refinement.
However, the service was excellent — the two ladies serving us were warm, friendly and very attentive throughout the meal. Their hospitality really stood out and made the experience more enjoyable despite the disappointment with the dishes.
With some improvements to the food, this could be a great dining spot, as the service is already brilliant.
I would recommend and return. Beautiful location.
Service was warm and friendly as one would hope and expect. We recommend booking in advance. Highly recommend and we will most definitely come again on our next visit to Bath.
Of course dressing nicely enhances the overall experience
The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was outstanding as well. A special shoutout to Marco, our waiter, who was both professional and genuinely friendly. He made the experience even more enjoyable with his attentiveness and warm personality.
This place delivers excellence in every aspect—highly recommended! I will definitely be coming back.
