Excellent food. Had the pesto cream with chicken and mushrooms. Focaccia bread was a nice touch. My son had the marinara and steak, didn’t think it would work together but he said it was really good. Food was hot and fresh, great option when going through La Pine.

My wife was craving meatballs and this spot had great reviews. The reviews are right. The food here is very good. I placed my order online and it was ready 20 minutes later when I arrived. We got the butter shrimp with pasta as well as the marinara meatballs with pasta. They both came with a garlic bread. It was all excellent. The full size order was more than enough for a hungry dude and half size would have been enough for my wife. It is a food trailer and has outside seating. No real ambiance for a nice date or anything like that but great for an excellent Italian meal.

After stopping here for dinner in La Pine, all I can say is that I know why the duck is chubby.
The food here is delicious! I shared an order of (gluten free!!!) gnocchi chicken alfredo and one of (that’s right, gluten free!!!) gnocchi meatball marinara with my partner. The proteins were prepared to perfection, the sauces were so flavorful, and the portions are very generous for the price.

Food cart with an indoor brewery seating area. The food was amazing we got halfsies of the chicken Alfredo and a build your own. It was so good I felt like I wanted to dance the whole time eating it. Very reasonable pricing too. I would have taken photos but I ate it all. Side note the two half orders felt like they weighed atleast 5 lbs ( over exaggerating but good food.)

TLDR-Just go and get gnocchi instead of pasta.
First of all, I feel absolutely horrible after eating that meal… WHY? Because my glutinous chonk was unable to stop eating. It’s seriously a gem. I got a half order and when I picked it up it felt like a brick. That should have been my first clue how much food I was about to eat. Get the full portion if you have a fridge for leftovers.
Food review… they have some chef specials but it’s a choose your own adventure. Start with pasta or gnocchi, sauce, veggies and meat. We got the Alfredo and butter wine and both were 10/10. Everything important is freshly made. Skip the pasta, it was cooked perfect but pales to the handmade gnocchi. If you think Olive Garden is the pinnacle of Italian, skip this place. One last piece of advice, get an extra focaccia for the road not with dinner. You will feel obligated and/or gluttony will make you eat it and next thing you know your unbuttoning your pants just to breath.

Was passing through town and saw this place, looked amazing! When we arrived the truck was closed. The neighboring truck said they never came in that day. I don’t want to give them a 0 because I’m sure their food is great but having reliable hours would be helpful. We came out of our way for this! The taco truck next to them is amazing by the way!!

I always like to try new restaurants when traveling and I go based upon google stars. It is rare to find one at 4.8 or higher. I have to say that the Chubby Duck is pushing for a full 5 stars. The full order was more than two people can eat. We had the Pork Pesto Special and our friends had the Chicken Alfredo. I tip my hat to the chef for job well done.

On a road-trip my husband said he wanted pasta. So I googled pasta and came across this place. OMG…..I the pasta was amazing!! As good as any nice Italian restaurant for sure.
I ordered the half size. Only problem was I wish I had more to take home! Even with the half size I couldn’t eat it all and did have some leftovers. The portions are a good size and full of flavor! You pick your pasta, toppings, sauce and protein. So it’s made how you want!
Will definitely be going back next time we pass by!!

First of all…YUM!!! I got noodles with artichoke mushroom tomatoes chicken and creamy pesto. Inside or outside dining options with taps. I unfortunately couldn’t drink today but next time!!!! I got half order and couldn’t finish it!!
