For a quick lunch pit stop, The Chop Shop in West Palm beach didn’t disappoint. It’s located inside a Texaco gas station store, but don’t let that fool you into thinking that this isn’t quality food.
Their menu runs the gamut from flatbreads to salads and sandwiches. The staff were extremely kind and explained the menu to us including their most popular items. We got a couple of chicken sandwiches(the chicken was incredibly fresh) that were a sweet burst of flavours in our mouths replete with the vegetables and the dressings. The green garlic tots were a guilty pleasure—deep fried with lots of garlic. 2 chicken sandwiches and 1 green garlic tots were more than enough for 2 people.
If I were being extremely nitpicky, I would say that the sandwiches tasted kind of one-dimensional after a point, but still, it was an extremely pleasant dining experience.
This place might not be a full-blown Michelin star restaurant, but it still serves quality food with a kind and polite staff, which is what many of us are looking for when looking to dine out.

What a hidden jewel! This restaurant inside a gas station is a true testament to not judging a book by its cover. I ordered the smothered chicken sando without the bread, served on top of tater tots, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on, and the portion was generous. I would definitely stop by again and grab something to go. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Found this spot while searching for new lunch options near our office and decided to give it a shot. It’s located inside a gas station at the corner of Palm Beach Lakes and Village and is very unassuming—but don’t let that fool you. The guys working the counter were super friendly, and everything was made fresh. I had the Philly cheesesteak, which was excellent and tasted much closer to an authentic Philly than what you usually find around here. It came with a side of garlic tots that were also really good. Overall, it’s a great little lunch option if you’re looking to mix things up. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I’ve been here multiple times and have tried something different each time, and it has always been good. The people who run the place and make your food are both the owners and they are both really nice friendly guys. The menu is pretty varied and it’s nice to have a non-chain place to go to where the people really take pride in the food they are making you. Don’t let the fact that this is in a gas station sway you. It’s a very nice setup and it’s very clean.

the food was great! I’ve had the smash burger, the Philly sub, and the garlic tots and they were all tasty. My only gripe would be the price ($25) but it that’s how it is nowadays.

Wow! A Must Try! We were on our way to the airport- wanted to grab a quick bite, found The Chop Shop and so glad we did. Yes it’s inside a gas station- but doesn’t matter as the food was delicious! We got the steak Philly, Buffalo chix and the bacon egg and cheese. The kicker is the bread! Just an absolute amazingly soft roll these sandwiches are on. I will be back!

Ordered a chopped cheese which I did enjoy. The issue is the bacon egg and cheese I ordered with no ketchup. It’s shown on a roll but was served on a sub, it had NO bacon and extra ketchup. It was completely inedible, NOBODY wants an egg, cheese and ketchup sub. Thanks for ruining my lunch. Not sure how this place has a 5 star rating?

Wow – these guys are great chefs!! How is this in a gas station? Well worth the trip. Delicious food . . . every bite. We had a killer Cobb salad, barbecue chicken bacon flatbread (emphasis on crispy bacon) and their new chicken parmesan sandwich. We came because of their 5 star rating, which we can now attest is fully deserved. Super busy at lunch time, so why not try an early dinner. They are open until 7pm.

I cannot believe I didn’t know about this place sooner. Yes… it’s in a gas station. And yes… it is absolutely INCREDIBLE.
We ordered the barbecue burger and I’m still thinking about it. The smell alone had me hooked before the first bite. The presentation, the quality, the flavor – everything was top notch. Juicy burger, perfectly melted cheese, crispy bacon, caramelized onions, and that BBQ sauce just tied it all together flawlessly. Honestly, the bar is set so high with this burger that I don’t know how anything else could beat it.
I’ve also had the barbecue flatbread on a previous visit and that was amazing too – packed with flavor and done just right. And let’s talk about the tater tots: perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Exactly how they should be.
This is one of those hidden gems Florida is famous for – a place you’d never expect to be this good, but once you find it, you’re hooked. The smell, the taste, the quality… everything screams care and pride in what they’re serving.

Food here is actually really good and the workers are legit definitely from New York definitely deserve their own shop in West Palm. They bring a good New York vibe, which is different and what West Palm needs
