We had takeout from Chop House in Fountain City TN, therefore I cannot comment on the atmosphere of the restaurant. However the food was delicious and the service was amazing. The staff will bring the food out to you curbside. Just call them. Tell them where you are parked and they will be happy to assist you. Top notch!!

There must be better options in the area. I was passing through and decided to give this a shot based on the somewhat positive reviews. The menu is really focused on steak which is not surprising given the name of the restaurant. I had a shrimp cocktail and it was decent… Not above average but at least no issues with it. I also had a Caesar salad and it was very much below average. I ordered filet mignon hoping that they would do steak well, but it was the worst I’ve had in many years. The table next to me also ordered a fillet and called the manager out to tell them how bad it was and ordered a salad instead. The service was very good. The food was just such bad quality that I would suggest you search for another place if you were considering the Chop House for dinner.

We love this place! The atmosphere is great. The food is wonderful. Their wait staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They have a good selection of food items to choose from. My favorites are their philly cheese steak sandwich for lunch and they always have a good fish selection for dinner. I especially love their unique and flavorful fish toppings like the mango pineapple salsa. This is one of our favorite places to eat.

We went on a Wednesday evening when I would expect them to be a little slower. The restaurant was about half full. The food seemed fresh, well prepared and quite flavorful.

Disappointed, why you ask. Food was great service was great, but two people ordered chicken Caesar salad. They received what i would call a normal size large salad with chicken I ordered the sirloin salad. My salad came on a plate the size of a side dinner salad. And much less heat. Yes I do understand that sirloin cost more than chicken. But what I paid for this salad the size of the dish was ridiculous.☹️

Made reservations on line for the bar. Got to the restaurant and the bar was full. Hostess said we may or may not get a seat in the bar and that reservations for that area are not guaranteed. Isn’t that what a reservation is? A guaranty? Ordered a Santa Fe grilled chicken salad. It came with no dressing. totally dry. Took a while to flag down our waitress. Food was good once they got it right. This place has gone down hill. Never again.
