Service was spectacular. The bread is delicious and warm. My salad tasted like it was fresh picked. We had steak and prime rib, talk about amazing!! All of the sides were delectable. Our experience was one of the best in the area. I would highly recommend a visit here.

During my 4 1/2 months in Augusta for work I’ve found myself here time and time again for some awesome food! Highly recommend you stop in if you enjoy a good steakhouse for regular steakhouse prices!

Ordered the chopped steak with rice and broccoli. I enjoyed the meal as a whole but I didn’t like the gravy, our bread wasn’t done and our baby said the smiley thingies that came with cheeseburger tasted like donuts lol. Our Server was AMAZING!

Celebrated my mom’s birthday here! She and dad shared prime rib – cooked a perfect medium! Sons both had filet mignon cooked perfectly medium rare and I had the sirloin with horseradish crust- wow! Cooked to perfection. Delicious sides of Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and deviled eggs were passed around. Highly recommend.

Thanks to Jordan, the service-oriented and professional assistant manager, for making my lunch today a pleasant experience. My server Rayne was helpful and pleasant. She was five stars, but I’m giving four stars for the rude greeter and for my first server who was rude and got replaced. The entire time I was eating, that first rude server was YELLING things to people while passing me back and forth every time, which made it obvious that she’s starved for attention and draws it to herself inappropriately. She was disturbing. I’m grateful that I had Rayne.

Out of 5 stars I give them a solid 3…here is my reasoning. My husband and I went Sunday at around 3:45pm. We were still able to order off the lunch menu but chose not too because we didn’t see any choices we would have liked. We were seated promptly and had 2-3 different waitresses come by and ask us what we would like to drink and our order…which caused confusion for them. Then one ended up being our waitress…she was very busy it seemed like she was having issues keeping her tables drinks topped off and remembering who asked for what. At a restaurant of this quality you expect better service. Since you’re paying around $50 a person…drinks should be topped off and not having to sit without a drink is not okay. Also they had the worse honey mustard and ranch I had ever tasted in my life. The honey mustard had onions diced up inside of it. It was so nasty I couldn’t even finish my meal. The appetizer we got were the deviled eggs and they were good but very cold like almost frozen. My husband enjoyed his steak and said it was cooked perfectly. I had a steak burger and it was good but lacking that wow factor. The cheesecake was really good though so that’s what saved the day and got the rating up to a 3/5 for me. I would give them another chance but if I had to base this experience off service I would not. The reason I would give them another chance is because I do feel like the quality of the food was really good and would like to go back and try another dish. Hopefully we get a more put together waitress and side note when going to a restaurant of this quality people don’t expect writing to be etched into the table and then sticky residue left on the table either. We paid $104 for our meal with tip altogether.

Our server Von was the BEST! Very informative, attentive to our needs, and made some awesome recommendations for the evening as well as answered any and all questions we had. The bartender Brianna made us some wonderful drinks while we waited for a table. After dinner, we returned to the bar area for cocktails they were so good. Ask for either of them for one of the best experiences!

This was my first time at any “The Chop House” locations. We came out on a Sunday around noon looking for something that wasn’t brunch and some protein on our trip back to NC and we sure found the spot! My boyfriend had the prime rib and it was to die for it was so delicious and the au jus was perfect. He had a side of Mac n cheese and onion rings, some of the best onion rings I’ve ever had. I got the Brisket cheese steak sandwich it was pretty good! I didn’t like the cut as much as I thought I would. But that was more personal preference. The fries were ok. My daughter got the kids pizza she said it was ok. She also got a Caesar salad with the greenest leaves I’ve ever seen on a salad! We already ate half our food before I remembered to take a photo. Also the sweet tea was very good, and I appreciated the glasses the beverages came in (no cheap plastic cups here!) this might be a southern thing but I really appreciated the sweet tea to go! I didn’t even ask! My infant sons behavior was about 4 out of 5 stars at this restaurant so luckily he didn’t disturb anyone too much. It had an after church vibe and I liked it. Chop house Augusta – I apologize for wearing flip flops but I just had to check you guys out on our way home! Parents – They have a diaper changing station (at least in the women’s restroom) and highchairs.

Food was amazing. We didn’t get part of our order. Waitress was polite but unattentive. It was not busy. We went for lunch. Lighting is great, fairly quiet, the booth seats need to be upgraded. They’re very uncomfortable.
