Had a mini Italian beef at the Chocolate Factory in Menomonee Falls, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was loaded with tender, flavorful beef, but the real standout was the bread—crispy on the outside, soft and warm inside. Perfect texture. The spot has a great atmosphere, too, right next to the dam, which adds a nice view if you’re eating in. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean and well-kept. It’s definitely worth stopping in.

The Chocolate Factory SHOULD be my favorite restaurant, but this location is disappointing. I’ve gone to three other locations over several years, which were all fantastic, but the Menomonee Falls location is the only one where they’ve given me a skimpy sub. I’m vegetarian, and I need some sort of sustenance on my sub. I get the cheese sub, which is usually absolutely amazing, especially because they load the cheese on there. I swear it’s usually 3 or 4 slices thick, so delicious. But the two times I’ve been here, this location gives you only 2 slices. On this order, I specifically wrote in the notes to make sure there was enough cheese, but when I opened the wrapper, the sub was flat and disappointing. To the manager – is this really something specific to your location, or is this a company-wide change? Are you the latest restaurant to participate in the awful and unfortunate practice of shrinkflation? I normally love The Chocolate Factory, but if you can’t make your subs to your own standards, especially for vegetarians who need more than lettuce and tomatoes, I think I’ll spend my money somewhere else. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Been here twice. Once for ice cream and once for sandwiches. The ice cream was outstanding. My son inhaled his Superman flavor. Pretty large portions, so when they say save room for dessert they’re not kidding.
Sandwiches were pretty good. I had Italian Beef, and my wife had the Sicilian. Overall we enjoyed our experience, and we’ll be back. Great to have a sandwich shop like this in our local area.

Went to the CF this afternoon for lunch for the first time.
I ordered the Sicilian sandwich. I got the mini size and wish I would have got the full size because it was so good. Perfect amount of toppings.
Had a hot fudge sundae after my meal. That was fantastic.
The staff members were smiling and hard working.
Spoke to Todd, the manager, he was extremely friendly. Always moving around the restaurant checking on the patrons.
That’s how you manage a restaurant!!

The subs are delicious. Not only that, the prices are extremely reasonable. A kid’s meal is $6.29 and comes with the mini sub, side and a drink. McDonald’s meals are more than that and way more unhealthy. The ice cream is unbelievable. So good. They sell it by the weight rather than just straight prices for a small medium or large. My two kids and me and my dad all got ice cream for under $13. Overall, I had a very positive experience here. All the employees were super friendly and had smiles on their faces.
They now have macaroni! While the new macaroni is a little expensive for the size you get… It’s very tasty. My son devoured his bowl.

This location started out ok. In this past week and it was below part. Dirty tables, unclean restrooms, work station not clean for sandwich prep, gloves not changed every few sandwiches, nor table wiped, condiment station dirty, and ICE Cream containers just nasty. It appeared someone took old slimy ice-cream out of one container and tossed on new one..not smoothed out and not frozen..just slimy. They need to clean this up before someone gets sick as there is much better potential and the location is great. However, we won’t be back.
