The Chocolate Bar is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by the rich aroma of chocolate. The desserts are beautifully presented and taste just as good as they look.
We absolutely love their tres leches cake—perfectly moist, rich without being overly sweet, and full of flavor. The café de olla is also a favorite, warm and comforting with just the right hint of cinnamon and spice.
Service is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels cozy and indulgent. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick treat or sitting down to savor dessert and coffee, this place never disappoints. ☕

We tried their churro crepes 2 months ago and loved them! We went back and tried their cheesecake and 3 fruits crepes and were very disappointed with the taste and texture of the crepes. I ordered a turkey torta (recommended by the employee, she said it’s better than the sandwich) and let me tell you… $15 wasted! They need to taste their food before selling it to customers. They only put 1 slice of turkey, which is ok but the flavor and taste of the turkey got lost with the bitter, sour, spoiled taste of the arugula. They put so much arugula that makes the torta taste disgusting. I removed all the greens and tried to eat the torta with tithe turkey and 2 slices of avocado but I was grossed out to see the arugula spoiled(moldy). We went back on a Wednesday to try different crepes and noticed that a lady had also ordered a torta and just took a few bites and left it on the plate. They have a lot of pastries but who knows how long they’ve been sitting on the shelf. The “cafe de olla” and churro crepe is the only thing I would buy again. Also they open at 9am, that’s very late for people that go to work 7 or 8 am and want to stop to buy coffee. ☕️

I came here to buy a cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I bought a tres leches cake. They don’t sell small cakes, like for six people. This one was a big cake, more like for twelve pieces. I don’t remember the exact price, but it was somewhere between $45 and $50 for the whole cake.
They kept the cake refrigerated while they got it ready. Since the cake came in separate pieces, they basically had to put the whole cake back together again. There were a few things that made the cake not look perfectly presented, but nothing terribly done either. That’s the reason why I’m giving four stars instead of five.
Because the flavor of the cake itself was totally good. Moist, the usual way you describe a moist cake. Sweet, but not super sweet to the point of being hard to eat. But definitely a lot of cake for three people. So we ended up eating cake for about three days. But yes, I would recommend it for a celebration. The cake was delicious. I think it would be great for a surprise or a small celebration like the one we had.
About the place in general, I’ve been here a couple of times. I like it. I would probably recommend that they offer some kind of cake service. Like I said, they sell cake slices and they look nice, but maybe offering whole cakes by order would make things easier for celebrations. But aside from that, everything was very good.

Stopped by the chocolate bar last night for some sweet treats. Cute place but no greeting as we entered or any interaction at all from the employees. We ordered a smoothie, crepe, sorbet in a pineapple and a banana cheesecake. We waited quite a bit for our order and once we got home an item was missing. I called before driving back over (I was nice on the phone) and the guy who answered literally handed the phone over to someone else without saying a word. I then had to repeat myself to someone else. It was so rude. He definitely needs a lesson on how to handle customers. Mistakes happen and the item missing wasn’t a big deal but bad customer service is.
I finally get the cheesecake and it was not worth my time nor whatever I paid for it. It tasted as if the bananas were going bad. There was also a slice of banana on top that had a weird texture. The crumbs they add at the end of the cake also had a weird texture. Im assuming the banana slice was supposed to be like a candied version but either way it was not it. The crepe was just ok, smoothie was good. Sorbet was good as well. They did give me a chocolate covered strawberry for the inconvenience and it was really good.
I also ordered an abuelita hot chocolate which was almost $7 for a medium and it tasted like champurrado. I could not drink it ( I do not like champurrado at all). I was expecting abuelita hot chocolate as it is advertised so it was disappointing. Overall this place is just ok. More than likely I will not visit again.

The ambience of this place arouses nostalgia. The food is fresh and tasty. I had a Mexican torta and it was amazing. The horchata lattes are pretty good and the juices are great.
Prices are above-average as compared to similar shops but I would rather sit here on the leather couches enjoying a warm drink than a hard chair at a Starbucks.
Kudos to management!

Cafe de olla and avocado toast is our favorite combo. It is always fresh and consistent. We appreciate the hospitalit They are welcoming and warm. We have been regulars since the pandemic and we are happy to see them still thriving.

Unexpectedly amazing! This place smells great as soon as you walk in the door. The young man who came from behind the counter to help me was pleasant and knowledgeable. I asked about one thing and he in turn recommended his favorite. I tried the flan and the Tres Leches. They were both delicious!
He also recommended the Mexican Coffee and it was oh so good.
This is the best dessert shop in Ontario, California!

Had a sweet tooth and decided to make a quick stop here. Service was excellent and the ladies were extremely nice and helpful. We tried the French apple tart and the banana cream pie. Both were 2 out of 5. The apple tart looks much better then it tastes and the banana cream pie didn’t have enough banana in it. Both were not a hit for us. Would come back to try something else.
