Hands down food was great. Walking by and just had to stop in and take a look. I’m very happy I did. The chicken was well seasoned like an aunty or Nana would do. Greens I had to smash so so good. I’d eat them everyday. Stop in and hit this mom and pop shop up you won’t regret it.

Normally I’m not a guy that enters a bar but when I see Mario Kart on the main screen from outside, automatically piqued my interest. Didn’t realize the name of the place until much later. I decided to order a colada crush (not bad, felt a bit weak but ok it’s like a spin-off on a pina colada) and the 3 piece tenders ( that were bomb btw. Tasty, crispy and juicy.) Sheldon the server was also super nice. Why 4 stars? Well I don’t know if it’s normal to be charged a 4% card fee plus a 20% service charge (on the wall it says gratuity) since I’m new to this type of place. But the video game on the screen ( they had basketball on another TV) , plus drink and great food did it for me. They make up for the cheap price of the food off of the service charge I guess.( I tipped as well) Will I return? Absolutely! The food and the ambience was just perfect for an introvert like me. (Even if things may be pricey I guess. Again not sure about prices in places like this) But loved it. Made my night and got a light buzz. Might’ve even salvaged my Memorial Day weekend trip

Give Kayla her flowers!!!!
My hubby and I came to the beach for his birthday. We were just looking of a good time before we crashed out in our hotel room. We walked and we were about the turn around before we happened on this place.
Kayla welcomed us and made us feel super comfortable like we were regulars.
There were video games to play with whoever had a controller. There was live music and Kayla managing everything in between.
We had the fish basket each which was pretty good. Definitely worth the trip if you are visiting the area.

Prices went up. Quality apparently did not. It wasn’t terrible, but there is so much room for improvement. When you walk in, it is dark (in the middle of the day), and nothing but explicit rap is playing over the speakers. Everything I touched felt sticky, and the bathroom needed a pressure washer taken to it. First thing I noticed when I sat down was the prices have gone through the roof. The drink I ordered wasn’t terrible, but it was weak and $10. I built my own boil because I’m not trying to spend $40 on some seafood at a hole in the wall chicken joint. The food came out quick and hot. There was absolutely no way the entire half pound of shrimp was in there (approximately 10 of the small shrimp is nowhere near a half pound). The sausage was plentiful and tasted good. The “2 potatoes” were two potato halves, but that didn’t really matter because they were still raw, and I couldn’t eat them anyway. The girl behind the bar was nice, but spent most of her time talking to the only other person in the place about her life’s issues.

How is it possible that I just ordered a sampler to go and you guys charge a service fee of 15% on each transaction and ALSO a card fee? I’ve been here 2 times, the first time was decent. The second time I wanted to give your guys’ food a try. My buddy also said he would buy us each a drink and he asked the bartender if we had to pay the service charge and card fee AGAIN and she said yes. We took our food and left. From 21.99 I ended up paying $28.81, without tipoing because we just waited at the bar for the food to go. It’s not like there was a service being done other than to hand out the takeout food. This is unacceptable and we weren’t a big party or anything we were two guys trying to enjoy some wings and maybe some drinks. Y’all trash.

The food was absolutely horrible!!! We ordered a fish basket, fish po boy, wings, garlic boiled crab legs, rice with gravy and a slice of cheesecake. The fish was burnt on both orders and the wings were barely done. There was no spoon to eat the rice with gravy. The cheesecake was just a slice of store bought cheesecake so where could you go wrong. I will not be ordering from them again and I wouldn’t recommend that anyone else do either.

First time here. My kids loved the seafood. My younger son devoured the shrimp! 15% service charge i think is standard for the spots on this strip so it didn’t bother me. Staff was very nice and checked on us a few times. Even with the service charge, or was affordable compared to other spots around here where I’ve ended up paying close to $80 just for lunch for 3.

This was our first time at the Chicken spot and we had a good time. We tried the platter option with a combo of chicken tenders and shrimp. While the portion sizes were good, I found the seasoning a bit on the saltier side. The fry was crispy, crunchy and definitely not oily or soggy, which was perfect. The dip options were slim, we went with ranch. Apart from the food, I think the service was slow, even during a regular week night. Overall, I think place is worth a try to satisfy a some crunch cravings.

Best fry chicken I’ve had in years. It was well seasoned, had a great crust, and the chicken wasn’t dried out. Since it’s made to order you do have to wait a bit (under 20 minutes for white meat) but it was worth it. Just be aware there is a there was a 4% card convenience fee and a 15% service fee. Also some of the menus posted online aren’t the prices they are listed on the menu in store.
