The people here are the friendliest, just good old folks. THE BEST onion rings I’ve had since I moved south almost 10 years ago. And these football sized Idaho baked potatoes are DA BOMB. Last time I was there, they screwed my order up a little bit, but the chicken tenders were so good and so huge I didn’t mind in the least. Like everyone else I wish they kept more hours. But hey, it’s Friday night right now. Guess where I’m headed?

I heard bad reviews about the place until I went only complaint is, the food needs to be seasoned a lot more and the owner should hire more Cook’s and once you do that The Chicken shack would sell out each and every night especially if I was one of the Cook’s Southern Food you should smell it from outside! The is by far the best restaurant in ware shoals. Unfortunately the owners don’t keep it open everyday. It also serves the same food as everyone else, it comes from a cardboard box.

I love the food but the prices are a little high and its hard to catch open now because they have lost a cook and only open from 4 to 10 now which is awful if you are wanting to eat from there at lunch time
