The crunchy crust of this chicken breast is very flavorsome. The aroma of the fried chicken when it arrived at my table was mouthwatering. When I tore a bite out of the center of this meat, it juiced right up on the inside. Collards, cooked to perfection. This meal was extraordinarily delicious. Thank you to everyone at the Chicken Coop today.

I hate to say that I was disappointed. Floor was sticky, 91.5 rating, food was not all that good . Gizzards had a good flavor but were tough and hard to chew. Maple glazed naked wings tasted ok but were very small, the sauce was nothing special.

Got there at 5:35PM. We had to wait to place our order until 5:49PM. Got our food for dine in as the only people there at 6:38PM , the chicken was ok. The hush puppies didn’t have much flavor. The Mac and cheese came out broken and Luke warm. The wings we ordered came out cold, not the way we ordered them and were very small. The employee kept saying he was sorry that it was just 2 people working. After complaining about the long wait twice the employee eventually came out and offered extra drinks for free. Spent nearly $65 for 4 people. We ordered 20 wings a small order of gizzards, a 2 piece meal with fries, a chicken sandwich meal and 4 drinks.

Had some naked wings, flats, from here without sauce for a work thing. They were pretty good. Decided to try them out for dinner tonight so we ordered pick up. The Mac and cheese was great, felt skimpy as they filled maybe half the container for a large order but it was delicious. No photo because we ate it all on the way home!
These are some of the smallest wings I’ve ever seen. I must have missed it eating all flats last time. And… THERE WAS A LONG HAIR IN MY WINGS. Thankfully I got 2 separate flavors because I did not eat that set. I know it isn’t our hair because of the type, texture, color, and how it is embedded in the bottom of this paper my wings were wrapped in.

I called in a order of naked Hot BBQ wings and Asian Thai the lady on the phone was very respectful and helpful. The service was very fast when I got there the wings were done! I do think the wings had good flavor they just weren’t as crispy as I like them other than that it’s a great place!

New to the Havelock area and just wanted some good fried Chicken.This place is awesome and they make it to order! I ordered the four wings they were perfect. Crunchy outside and juicy inside. My son had the chicken sandwich and they even made it spicy for him he loved it. We talked about the oxtails and a few of the other menu items that we are excited to try next time. Very friendly and and I love the decor it’s really cute.

An instant favorite. Tried for the first time today, we got the 12-Pc Family Tailgate (assorted pieces with 3 sides). Chicken was well seasoned and fried to the perfect crisp, fries nicely seasoned, hush puppies well made and consistent quality. Everything is made to order, so I’d suggest ordering ahead to save the wait (approx 20 min), but it’s worth it nonetheless. They also have catering options and a small room on the side with the option of venue rental. Will be returning often, you guys rock!

Food and service are both great! The portions are large and very reasonably priced. My personal favorite is the 12 piece chicken nugget and yams. The chicken sandwich is also very good and huge. Great mac and cheese, potato salad, and hush puppies as well. The young man who works the counter the times I have been in is always super nice. Definitely a hidden gem in Havelock.

The chicken sandwich is delicious! Great flavor, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and a good portion for my big apetite! The fries are seasoned well too! Sandwich, side and a drink for ten bucks, great lunch spot! So glad I work in that same shopping center.

Love the food at the chicken coop! You can tell a lot of care goes into preparing and making the food. The owner chris helped with a few suggestions as well. We had the chicken bites, mac and cheese, hushpuppies and an order of the honey garlic parm wings. Its the best fried chicken ive had in a while. We will be back soon.
