This place has been around for so long. It is a staple of the Park Hill Neighborhood. It’s exactly what you could want in a local neighborhood Italian restaurant.
Every dish is like a warm blanket on a cold Colorado evening. The prices are as reasonable as a $10 haircut. Do yourself a favor and take your time just enjoying it.

We went on a Saturday evening. Restaurant opens at 5pm. We arrived at 4:45 and were first in line. By the time 5pm rolled around there was a line of about 30 people waiting to be let in. Reservations can only be made by calling and they only answer the phone when they are open- in the evenings, so plan ahead. We were a party of 5 and they had to push tables together to accommodate our party. Service was excellent. We were in a hurry so quickly decided and placed our order as we saw that at least 15 tables were all seated at 5. We all had drinks and dinner and bill was reasonable. Food was excellent and service was prompt and very accommodating of our requests. Meat Lasagna was excellent. The veal marsala was also excellent and smothered in sautéed mushrooms with a great flavor. Portions were generous but not huge. We were seated at 5pm and were out the door by 6:15. Park on 23rd street. Get here early to get a table and if you are in a rush let them know and order promptly and they will take care of you. This was our first trip here but definitely will not be our last.

Great family friendly italian restaurant! The pasta dishes were delicious with moderate sized portions! The atmosphere and decor is perfect for a date night, and creates a cozy feel with delicious food and wine! Also, there a really cute patio area for warmer weather! We will definitly be back!

I love a place with neighborhood vibes, but think it’s fair to set expectations for food! The food is mid, and sadly bolognese was the most disappointing. The chicken piccata and garlic bread are a safer bet, but if you’re looking for great pasta dishes, I’ve still yet to find a great (affordable) place in Denver! Would come back to enjoy a glass of wine with a friend on their patio in summer, but not the food.

Food was good. not amazing by any means .. It was 55 degrees Inside!!! I know it was 10 degrees F outside but this was unacceptable. less than 10% of staff or patron had taken their winter jackets off. when asked about the temp.server said the wall heater would heat up. he tried 3x and it never came on….. it was unbearable. ordered the special chicken riggies- noodles and sauce tastes good, chicken was overcooked- had a hard time cutting with a fork . we left as soon as we got the check …

It’s hard not to be biased as our family friends own this restaurant, but anytime we want Italian food, we come here. We’ve tried other Italian restaurants around Englewood and Denver and none compare to the quality and price of the Cherry Tomoato.
They hosted our rehearsal dinner for our wedding and it was amazing! The food (as always) was top notch, the patio was set up perfectly, and everything went smoothly.
If you haven’t eaten here, you need to go!

I frequented this restaurant while living in Park Hill. My first time back in a while and was so disappointed. No bread offered with meal. Garlic bread was skimpy and burned. Carpaccio appetizer was skimpy on the beef which should have been rare, but looked white; barely enough for two people. My favorite dish, Pasta Felese, had a runny sauce and very little chicken. Never again.

Food has gone downhill in The last few years. Had a wonderful glass of wine BUT the last sip had all the sediment in it. Took it to the bar tender and was told “it’s only sediment” I knew that but you don’t serve it that way! Not the way I want to end my meal!

My husband and I came for the first time last night. I was very excited as I live in the neighborhood and have seen this restaurant for years and have been wanting to try it. Based on the reviews, I thought we were in for an amazing dinner. This was probably the worst “Italian” food I’ve ever had. We got the garlic bread to start, it was burnt and the tomato sauce tasted like it came straight from the can. Our entrees weren’t any better. My husband said the beef bolognese tasted like cardboard, absolutely no flavor. I ordered the special which had over cooked chicken and a very interesting ricotta cheese ravioli. The waitress was sweet and wine was nice. I will not go back which is a bummer because it’s such a vibe, but the food is not good. Maybe the chef was having an off night but it was disappointing.
