I’ve been coming here for over a decade. One of the best gems in San Antonio. I love taking friends here and introducing them to good food. I love how the profits go to local charity. A really good spot for date nights or catch up with friends.

Great local restaurant/bar with a Japanese-inspired cuisine and great vibe. We had all kinds of tapas and drinks. Most were above average. Happy hour deals are great and they donate proceeds to a local charity every month. Highly recommend.

The service was wonderful and really attentive. The staff made us feel welcome right away and the whole place has a cool relaxed vibe. The food was great too. I definitely recommend the ramen and the edamame.

One of the things I love most about this place is the concept. Part of what you spend goes to different charities, which makes the experience feel even better. Good food, great service, and supporting a good cause. Hard to beat that. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I went for the ramen/noodles but got the chicken wings the sampler dish & the edamame I made 2 different trips, since I was in the area. I like the atmosphere, the music they have playing & I absolutely love how they donate to different charities & shop/use local supplies. Im not sure if it was the owner or the chef that took the time to talk with me about the food and what they’re all about. Definitely will go back!

We were pleasantly surprised by this cozy hidden jewel accros the street from the Alamo Dome. As soon as you stepped inside the building, you can smell aroma of food that any foodie can tell it smelled delicious. Our server was super friendly and attentive. I ordered a couple of appetizers before my main Ramen noodle dish and we all loved them, I personally loved the shiitake mushroom kushi with unique sauces that came with them. I would highly recommend this place for a group gathering. They have outdoor seating and I can only imagine it would have been great if it wasn’t a cold winter day. I would love to try that when the weather is a nit warmer.

I stopped into The Cherrity Bar for dinner and I’m already hooked! The food is absolutely phenomenal — not just good, but seriously comforting. I tried the secret menu (you’ve got to ask about it if you haven’t!) and the birria egg rolls were to die for. I also went for the pork kimchi fried rice, which was fantastic.

The service was spot on, super friendly, and they even brought out some complimentary edamame, which was such a nice touch. The cocktails were excellent, too — creative and well-balanced.

The vibe here is really chill with cool, cozy decor. You can sit at the bar or in the back — there’s plenty of seating. I love that they serve food until 10 p.m. on weekdays (thank the lordy for that!). On top of all that, they’ve got a bunch of board games and other games you can play while you’re hanging out, which makes it such a fun spot.

The prices are also extremely reasonable for the quality you’re getting. Honestly, I can’t wait to come back and work my way through more of the menu — food, drinks, and definitely more secret menu finds. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Lastly they donate proceeds to charity EVERY MONTH! SO Cool!

First time coming here and I already want to go back!
Food was extremely delicious. The variety platter nearly had me full before the main course.
Definitely get the charred edamame your life will be changed.
My Yakisoba noodles were cooked just right and had great flavor.
The tempura ice cream was a perfect ending to the meal.
Service was quick and friendly here.

I’m not usually a foodie, so you know a restaurant is good when I crave it! This was my third visit, and it keeps getting better. I was delighted by our service from Candid, and I can’t recommend the environment/food/service enough!

Finally made it for dinner, and it definitely didn’t disappoint the high expectations we had from everything we’ve heard. The app sampler with dips and the Ramon were so flavorful that my family ate everything, a rarity for my kids. Service was fantastic, and the Chef was so welcoming, even letting us taste some sauces for other plates. We can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended!
