Everything was beautifully curated and presented. It was a dinner and show in one with a beautiful open kitchen. Some dishes stood out more than others, but my favorite was definitely the signature scallop. Something that took me by surprised me was the pallet cleanser, to transition from the savory to sweet dishes. It was a cold treat, sort of magical, small bite.
Overall everything was great, however what stood out the most was the environment. It was warm, the staff was amazing and great conversations and laughs were shared. (Good music also.)

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because they ran out of ice cream that paired with the main dessert which made it lack substance. Although it was still delicious they didn’t inform us about it, which we would’ve appreciated.

The experience here was very good! It’s inside a grocery store, has a high quality tasting menu. Would recommend the none alcoholic drinks pairing, can share between 2 people comfortably with water also. The coconut ice cream with the muffin for dessert was my favourite of the courses.

Chef’s Table is an exclusive, cutting edge culinary experience hidden in the back of a Manhattan grocery store. With limited seating directly around the open kitchen, you get a front row seat to watch your culinary journey unfold.

Chef Max and Chef Marco have outdone themselves with their exquisite tasting menu and award winning wine pairings. Every bite was absolute perfection, thoughtfully prepared, and artfully plated. This is a fine dining experience you won’t soon forget.

The flex started as a happy accident with Chef Thomas Keller at the French Laundry, and now it’s just a fun tradition to carry on with the most talented Chefs.

I chose this restaurant for our anniversary after hearing many glowing recommendations and arrived with high expectations. While there were highlights — notably the skill and attentiveness of the sommelier — the overall experience left room for improvement.

We were seated directly under a heater, which provided warmth at first, but wind repeatedly blew my hair into my face. When the heater was turned off at my request, it quickly became chilly due to a draft each time staff passed through a nearby door to the back. We asked to move, noticing that several tables remained empty throughout our visit, but were told this was not possible.

Service began slowly, with roughly 30 minutes passing after our reservation time before the first course arrived.

As someone who grew up by the ocean, with seafood being a regular part of our family meals, I especially look forward to seafood when dining at this level. That’s why I was disappointed by the langoustine, which lacked freshness, and the turbot, which had a strong metallic taste. Neither dish was finished, yet no one inquired about them. For a two-star Michelin restaurant, I had expected a higher level of attentiveness and engagement about the dining experience.

Throughout the three-hour meal, service felt reactive rather than proactive. Staff members delivered dishes and cleared plates but never checked in between courses, something I noticed was handled differently at other tables that evening.

The sommelier was the clear standout, taking time to understand my preferences and thoughtfully recommending a drink I genuinely enjoyed — no small feat, as I’m not a wine drinker and avoid spirits like bourbon or whiskey. Her professionalism and determination reflected the caliber I had expected across the board.

Our experience at the chef’s table was nothing short of exceptional. Each course was meticulously crafted, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautifully layered flavors. I enjoyed the non-alcoholic pairing, while my sister opted for the standard pairing; both were thoughtfully curated and complemented the dishes perfectly.

The service was exemplary, with an impressive level of attention to detail and seamless teamwork that enhanced the entire experience. A truly memorable evening — we highly recommend it and look forward to returning

You would never expect this restaurant to exist tucked in the back of a grocery store. The moment you step inside, it becomes something else entirely. The space, the pacing, and especially the staff make it clear this is a carefully crafted experience. The team made a point to know their guests and created a welcoming atmosphere while serving inventive dishes with thoughtful wine pairings.

By the end of the meal, I had completely forgotten where I started. It felt like a hidden destination rather than a restaurant inside a store.

I also deeply appreciated how they handled my shellfish allergy. Instead of offering a generic substitute, they adjusted the menu in a way that felt intentional and equally enjoyable. It made the experience feel inclusive rather than limited.

As you can also tell from my photos, I was so immersed in the experience that I forgot to take them past a single plate! Talk about an experience where you cant help but to just sit back and enjoy it instead of trying to take the perfect photo.

Definitely my best food experience in my life, the mix flavors, the service, the atmosphere… all incredible, refined, outstanding.

The paired wine selection is also well harmonized, with right wines, and top quality.
You don’t find that everywhere!
They have amazing drinks and a non alcoholic pairing ass well.
Will be back soon and can recommend everyone to visit this gem of a restaurant.

First time dining at a two star Michelin restaurant and loved it starting from the fun entrance to the very last course. Dishes were unique and had good flow from one course to the next. The standard wine pairing was a beautiful accompaniment to the flavours of each dish. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable, making the night truly memorable.

Such an incredible experience. Everything was coursed out to perfection. The wine pairings and the music and the food were all well thought out. It is on the pricer side but if you’re looking for a once in a lifetime experience, I would definitely recommend.

I decided to spoil myself on my last NYC trip and booked the Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare—it was hands down one of the best meals of my life (so far). Every course was stunning (especially the first three courses – blue fin tuna, foie gras & wagyu – blew me away) and the wine pairings made it even more fun. I went alone and never once felt awkward—the staff were so warm and welcoming that it honestly felt like they were rooting for me to enjoy every second. It’s definitely a splurge, but if you’re looking to treat yourself, this is the place.
