The food was truly made my visit worth the wait! Although the waiter was friendly, he took around 36 minutes to come and tell us that he was our waiter, by the time they came to introduce themselves my entire party already knew what to order. Well we place orders and by the time our food came we had all forgotten what we had ordered. We got seated at around 4:30 pm, didn’t get attended til like 5:15 pm and didn’t start eating until 6:28 pm. At some point our original waiter even came and introduced us to our new waiter. Well expecting this waiter to do a better job, they actually manage to do an even worse gob at their entitled job, to wait on customers . It was quite comical to say the least. Our waiter finally comes after we have finished our meals, and we asked for our dessert and oh dear, they not only kept forgetting to bring us the menu for the cheesecakes but again once we finally placed the order, they waiter themselves were shocked at how slow they were being. Besides the service being as slow as a slime-less snail trying to get across the dresser carrying its own weight in rocks, the food was fresh, delicious, filling and would definitely recommend the grilled salmon with the fresh squeeze of lemon along with these creamy yet lumpy side of mashed potatoes. The broccoli was just the right touch of freshness and iron. The sauce which I think is some kind of horseradish is also quite tasty. The Korean fried chicken was also flavorful and the cheesecake well, could have been better presentation at least the celebration one looked a little sad but overall the slices were decent. Overall Cheesecake Factory is a classic where the food may not be lacking flavor but the service is always what makes you think twice about dinning in.

We arrived in Houston sometime around 815 and the woman at our front desk of our hotel told us that the cheesecake factory close to midnight. Rather than driving we decided to walk since it is about 10 minutes from the hotel, got there and found that they closed at 10. We’re a little hesitant as coming in so close to closing can mean bad service. That wasn’t the case, we knew exactly what we wanted to order and our waiter was incredibly friendly and patient. I requested a gluten free bun which he mentioned was no longer available but could green style it. Perfect. While this location is new to us (when living in Houston it was across the street) it’s decorated quite the same but is two story with a bar focused atmosphere below. Two hamburgers, one GF green style and spaghetti w meatballs. Gluten Free Cheesecake. Overall good experience.

It’s a chain restaurant but this one was plenty good when we were there. Tipping was optional so this is very friendly to tourists.

Food was tender but bland. Appetizer of egg rolls was ok. 3 dishes for 3 different people- food was palatable but they all left something to be desired. Bathrooms are by the elevator to the upstairs part of the restaurant. Full bar but they were out of shelf tequila. Nice atmosphere and nice music.

My jambalaya pasta was pretty good but my friend’s fettuccine alfredo was powdery and bland and had chicken added when he didn’t order protein on his dish. Service was friendly but slow moving and our first 40 minutes was just water and bread. We also had a weird situation occur that dampened our experience here. After paying for our meals we never received our cards back (both of us got the checkbooks with just receipts in it, no cards) and not realizing this immediately we walked out of the store. About 10 minutes later we realized we both didn’t have our cards so we went back to get them. When the manager came out he just handed them to us with no apology and didn’t bother asking if we were the actual owners of the cards to verify the name on the card, the number, the bank, etc. It’s definitely not a good business practice for cashiers/servers to not include the cards back, and it’s concerning that the cards could be handed over so nonchalantly. While I’m grateful for getting them back, my friend and I both felt the situation was bizarre that this happened in the first place and felt the need to cancel our cards as a precaution.

Service was fantastic. Our server did a great job . This location was much better than the locations in Las Vegas and Seattle. Food was how it should be cheese cake factory lived up to its reputation . When in Houston come to this location at the Galeria mall you won’t be disappointed.

The environment is welcoming. You do not need to dress up here, unlike the neighboring restaurants. The bread they give come out the same time as our appetizer ♀️ and unfortunately the drinks did not stay filled (but that was on the server). The plates were pretty good. We can’t complain. We probably won’t be back , not our style but it was nice!
