I met a long time friend for lunch at The Cheesecake Factory in Greensboro NC today. Our server, Carli, also “served” as the bartender so she was really busy but took great care of us! My friend ordered the Santa Fe Salad and I ordered the Famous Factory meatloaf dinner. I got some soothing hot mint tea and she got an Arnold Palmer. We stayed through lunch and didn’t depart until 4pm. The restaurant is beautiful! We were too full to get any cheesecake but they looked scrumptious!! I guess because holiday parties are going on there was a crowd of about 20 people outside the door before they opened. We git seated right away. Enjoyed the atmosphere and spending time with my friend! Check this restaurant out if you haven’t. It’s in the Friendly Shopping Center

The food was excellent. I got the Baja tacos that came with black beans and rice. The tacos were spicy and full of flavor. The beans were seasoned perfectly and the rice had just the right crunch texture. Our waiter was awesome. We never waited for anything long and he was on point. The table we sat it was in a corner and I should have asked for an alternative. It was rather close to another party and ugh. Anyhoo, we got cheesecake to go. There was no shortage of staff and I watched a guy go to the restroom whod just been seated. By the time he’d come back one of the wait staff had cleared off the table. He came out of the bathroom like what happened? The wait staff apologized and got him set back up again. It’s the typical Cheesecake factory set up.

The last time we came, it was an absolutely awful. The food was delicious, but the server was the worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant and I’ve been in a lot of restaurants. I will have to say this time made up for it.Henry our server today was super polite, very helpful and very prompt with everything. Checking in on us multiple times and making sure we had everything we needed! I’m so happy that this time was better because the food we’ve gotten here has always been amazing.

Everything was surprisingly good. I would order everything again. The Spaghetti and Meatballs portion was crazy. Enough for two people. I liked the Crispy Rice Cakes With Crab the most. It was real crabmeat that was creamy and peppery. Tasted fresh. The chicken and biscuits was the second favorite. Cheesecake Factory showed off tonight. The packaging was done well. I cannot sleep on the Cheesecake Factory anymore.

Do I need to say more (see photo)? The hardest driest piece of chicken I have ever encountered in my life. Good thing my mom didn’t slap me with it when I was a kid or I’d still be in the ER. They should call it Louisiana 3M Sandpaper Chicken. Kidding aside…no cook or expo should ever allow that to exit a kitchen. Take pride in what you serve.

My family and I have been here many many times, last night was the first time in a while though. We noticed the increase of food prices and drink prices. Just like every other restaurant they have to increase their prices as well. Although I was a bit surprised by at least a 4 to 5 dollar increase on entree, the food was delicious as always, the service was impeccable; thanks Tim!! ******EDITED**** I do appreciate the response from the restaurant however the appetizer I ordered was $16 which is typically the price of an entree. I would love to come and enjoy happy hour prices but unfortunately my schedule does not allow that, but thanks for the suggestion!

I don’t think I’ve ever been more disappointed with a restraint that’s supposed to be high end. Me and my girlfriend spent 60$ on cold food and our waitress to not speak to us or check in on us. We came around 7pm, which they were pretty busy and waited around 30 minutes for a table which is fine, reasonable timing, and we were able to walk through the strip around it for a bit as well. We got seated around 7:46pm and the hostesses were sweet and welcoming however we get put in this tiny little corner booth that’s connected to where a party of 6 people will sit next to us around 15-20 minutes later. We get our drinks reasonably fast and then we put in the appetizer we got which was the pretzel bites with the fondue cheese. As a chef myself the cheese fondue was made from already pre bagged shredded cheese due to the way it clumped even while still hot. The next problem is, 20 minutes later a party of size sits next to us, alright fine, but it’s a tight fit. Our waitress greets them like normal and brings bread to both us and the party. We didn’t even know that getting bread was an option until she brought it to us. Did she forget? No clue. She takes our orders like normal. I get the Baja tacos, and my girlfriend gets the 4 cheese pasta. We are sitting for over an hour by the time our appetizer comes out, which was stale and cold. The cheese was clumped and we had to mix it for a bit to get it to break apart, and then the pretzel bites were stale and COLD in the middle. The plate itself was hot but none of the food was? I pointed this out to my girlfriend because I was very disappointed as we were waiting for an hour at this point. The party that came in 20 minutes AFTER us got their food at the same exact time we did. My tacos were soggy and cold once more, the beans over salted and overcooked to mush, and the rice was cold and had no flavor. My girlfriend’s pasta had cheese sauce clumped all around it and when she took a bite it was cold. The problem with our food being cooled was the fact the plates themselves were scalding hot. We spoke to our waitress maybe 4 times that whole night. Greeting us, our waters, our appetizer and food, and then giving us the check. I had to pull her aside a few times for refills and bread. Me and my girlfriend were so disappointed we left after paying and didn’t even get to try any of the cheesecakes we were originally so excited about due to the lack of care from our waitress and the lack of care in the making of our food.

‼️I’m truly appalled at the disrespect I experienced while dining here for dinner on 9/17. Two of my friends and I came in around 6 pm, sat on the patio and were there to celebrate my birthday. The service we received was very slow throughout our entire time. Two of us ordered salmon, it was so bland and flavorless. The manager comes to take our dessert order since our server is now bartending, cool no problem. My friend tells the manager about our service and the salmon and she offers an apology – does absolutely nothing about it.

Now, the WORST part of it all is the employees tampering with and attempting to STEAL my birthday gift that I had. I had an UNOPENED birthday card and gift card (in an Ulta cardboard gift box) that was on the table. I left to the parking lot for I kid you not, 2-3 minutes, come back and the table is cleaned. No problem, I go to the front to ask about it and a young lady says she’s going to check the safe and disappears for awhile. My friend asks for the manager since it’s taking so long (the same manager from earlier arrives), I give her a description of my gifts, and she says she’ll check with the buss boy. The manager comes back with an opened card (NO envelope) and a plain gift card (NO gift box, wrapping, nothing) and asks if it’s mine. I literally say no because I have not seen the card or actual gift card since I didn’t open it. My friend (who gifted it to me) confirms it’s mine so I ask the manager where is the card envelope and gift box at and she says “I don’t know maybe it got damaged from some of the water”. Am I dumb? Lol, certainly not. A worker, manager, someone thought they won a prize with my birthday gift and thought wrong. I can’t believe your employees would try to steal from paying customers. The manager did NOTHING once again but offered a weak apology. My gift card isn’t even usable because the peel to see the gift card number and pin has been pulled and damaged by whichever worker tried to open it. SO disrespectful! What a way to ruin my night. ‼️
Server: Dark skinned man with short curly hair, was working the patio between 6-8:30 pm
Manager: Fair skinned woman with long ginger hair in a ponytail managing between 6-8:30 pm

The food was delicious and the portions are huge!! We had the nachos appetizer and they were amazing! Our server, Alan H. was wonderful and kept our drinks full the entire time and checked on us often. He even “ice wrapped” our dessert so it wouldn’t melt on our long trip home! So perfect! We visited on Friday afternoon June 20th around 4-4:30. The menu is huge and the selection of cheesecake is enormous!! We were very pleased and look forward to dining there again soon.. the only drawback would be the pricing. We each had a sandwich, we shared an appetizer, we both got a soda and a slice of cheesecake, nothing outrageous but our bill (BEFORE tip) was $95!! ONE soda is $4.95! We will absolutely visit again, but unfortunately, it isn’t somewhere we can afford to do very often.

This was our first and last trip to Cheesecake Factory. A Saturday evening, signed in around 4pm for a table for 3, with a 40 min wait. No problem, found out our table was outside, or we could wait for inside. “We have heaters” we were told. It would have been nice if they all would have been on. Then we waited for drinks, we waited 30-40 minutes for our appetizer, we waited longer for our meals, we waited for our check. All the waiting while almost yelling across the table over the offensive music. It was terribly dark, inside wasn’t much better. I assume the food tasted the way it was supposed to but it was a disappointment all the way around and insanely overpriced. 1 appetizer, 3 drinks, 3 entrees and 1 piece of cheesecake to-go. Grand total $120ish plus tip. We finally left at 7pm.
