Leiza and Justin, a young couple, bought this place a little over a year ago. They have been in the food business for a long time. Justin worked his way through high school with the original owners and continued in the food industry in various restaurants in Atlantic City and offshore. It shows. I have enjoyed their excellent homemade soups, salads, and other fare. The potato leek soup is silky! Their cheese selections are excellent. If you have a chance to chat with the owners, you will appreciate their depth of knowledge about food. The place is clean and bright and the staff is very attentive. A pleasure to be in such nice and tasteful surroundings. Prices are reasonable.

Really excellent! The best salad, soup and sandwich place in the area. Hands down. Finally found a shop that serves great food and not the average and below average items that are far too common. I would eat here every day! I wish they were open for dinner and I would eat here twice a day!

The Cheese Board has always been one of my favorite spots to get a sandwich in the area. They have a nice variety of sandwiches and salads to choose from and there is always a great seasonal or weekly special going on.

I had an amazing lunch today at The Cheese Board! A delicious cup of their pumpkin bisque and a turkey sandwich on sourdough bread. Everything was so fresh and delicious!! If you haven’t eaten here I would absolutely recommend it !

Unaccommodating to vegetarians. If you are vegetarian, you will pay more here. Ordered lunch for our office staff meeting ($100+ order) and one person (a vegetarian) ordered a Cobb salad but with no chicken or bacon. Asked both the girl taking the order and the manager that was there if they could add in some extra avocado and egg to make up for not having chicken or bacon. Was told there would be an extra charge of $4.00 for this. Even though they would be keeping the meat, this person would have to pay more to make up the difference, or ultimately still pay more because they were getting less. Lost a customer here and soon to be more once I fill in the wide network of other practices we work with who also have vegetarian staff.
EDIT: love that the owner doubled down instead of admitting it was a ridiculous business move. Instead of accommodating, you chose to lose repeated business over a matter of something that would’ve cost them pennies on the dollar. Apparently the customer is always wrong… Hope it was worth it and I will make sure other offices are aware and don’t order from here either. Will make sure more business is lost.

If your looking for a flavorful and fresh breakfast or lunch spot, look no further! Today I made my way to The Cheese Board for lunch and tried the french onion soup with a chicken parm sandwich, both of which surpassed my expectations! I will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items! Bonus points for a friendly and comfortable dining space!

I ordered the Tropical Pig on Ciabotta bread and it was mouth watering. The apple slaw mixed in with shredded pork for a tasty delight. Not to mention complimented well with kettle cooked potato chips and slices of pickle. I was very satisfied with this meal and I’m very glad I walked in these established out of curiosity. I highly recommend The Cheese Board for your next meal!!

Stopped in with my hubby for a quick lunch. My husband and I are Vegan so there was only a few menu items we could choose from if we omitted ingredients in the salads. They did have an avocado and hummus salad which we ordered. It was good and very large. We could’ve shared one for sure. Since I saw there were roasted veggies on the menu I asked if they were able to make a sandwich/wrap with them but I was told no. The salad we had was very good but probably won’t be back due to the lack of options for us.
