This quaint diner appearing restaurant had its ups and downs. There was only street parking, which can be difficult, but expected in a beach town. The inside wasn’t the cleanest but had a cute vibe to it. Food came out relatively fast. The hummus appetizer wasn’t too flavorful and probably not worth the price. The fried cauliflower was definitely better, with a light crispy coating and delicious Korean sauce. For an entree, I had the ahi tuna burger. This was absolutely delicious! It came with a pineapple salsa that added just the right amount of acid and sweetness to the meaty fish. The bun didn’t add much and wasn’t quite toasted, but tasted fine. Their fries are absolutely delicious (all 6 in our party agreed) but were a tad too salty that none of us were able to finish them. Another two in our party got the new York strip steaks, neither of which were cooked to the correct ordered temperature and one had to be sent back. They also did not have steak sauce (not sure why you would serve steak at your establishment without steak sauce available). Two others in our party got the lobster roll. They said that it was decent with an okay amount of lobster. The roll was too small and didn’t quite fill them up. There was melted butter to accompany the roll, not flavored, and coleslaw, which wasn’t impressive in any way. Another got the spaghetti and meatballs. He said he’s had better and he’s had worse, but he thought it was good and satisfied his craving for spaghetti. The bill was fairly high, and be careful because they automatically put a tip on the bill. Overall, I’d recommend skipping Chatterbox. It wasn’t memorable enough or tasty enough to make it worth going back to for the price. Maybe if you have a picky family, this may be a good place to go, but I wasn’t impressed overall.

Went today with my family for the first time since the change to Green Eggs. I personally love Green Eggs downtown Philly for their incredible French Toast.
It’s off season right now at the shore so we were sat right away. Service was a bit slow but the plates were amazing.
Got the cookie dough stuffed french toast- it was incredible as expected.
The reason it’s 4/5 stars comes down to 1. price (it’s just a bit much for an OCNJ breakfast) and 2. slow service (that I do think would be a major problem during the on season).
All in all this is more of a treat yourself sort of meal. Had a great time though!

3.5 stars actually. Food was ok. It’s a step above a diner. My fish tacos looked beautiful but didn’t wow me. They lacked fish and the shells tasted old tbh. Other guests got burgers, steak and cheese and rib sandwiches. They all said food was tasty. Would I eat here again? Absolutely I just won’t get the fish tacos.

We found our new favorite breakfast place! Great selection of breakfast options. Outdoor seating during breakfast was perfect because the sun covers the outdoor area perfectly !

The food at Green Eggs at the Chatterbox is delicious! So much so that we went 2 days in a row while in Ocean City. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was due to the wait for the food. Other than that, everything was great.

Great experience here. Staff was very nice and informative, and the food tasted great, although it did take a bit for ours to come out. I ended up getting the fish and chips and I really enjoyed the fish. The fries were okay but I expected better.

Atmosphere and inside of restaurant is beautiful . Presentation of food is over the top. . . Not a really big fan of cake like pancakes, was just way to much and did not taste like pancakes. Overall the the food tasted ok. There was also a long wait for it.
I was just looking for a basic breakfast for my family . Service was slow. The food options are not family friendly, maybe better for a date night . Very pricey for a family of 4 .

The restaurant has an outdoor venue with tables appropriately spaced apart. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer and the street tacos. Both dishes were delicious. The service was also very good. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Ocean City.

My girlfriend and I came here somewhat spontaneously for dinner, we were greeted almost immediately by a very friendly manager, as well as our server Hailey, Hailey took great care of us all night! Our food was delicious, even with bigger portions we both finished our whole meals, and still went for some great milkshakes afterwards! Everyone involved with our experience did a wonderful job, and we will be coming back again next time we are in Ocean City!
