If you are traveling to Holiday World this is a great family restaurant. We were looking for something a little more healthy food than just a pizza and wing place. Highly recommend if you are looking for nicely sized kids serving and adult menu. Also adult beverages available. From kids menu the kids had pizza, tater tots, Mac n cheese, chicken tenders. Adults had salad and grilled tenderloin sandwich. All was very good.

We wanted a family restaurant that was something we couldn’t get at home. Everyone was happy and left full. Food in my opinion was amazing. Atmosphere was good just a little loud but we weren’t the only family there from holiday world. We plan on going back again when we visit holiday world again in a month. I had the pork steak and tasted almost just like what I make at home. All of us were very satisfied

My wife and I had a family dinner at The Chateau and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! Sammi was our server and never have I had a waitress in my life that was better her! The food was spectacular and I recommend anyone who’s hungry to make the drive! It’s worth it!

The workers are friendly enough but they lack in service as we never received our refills, had to go up and request check, and to go boxes for ordered items that took too long to arrive. Buffet was alright but not worth $20 each. My mixed drink was excellent not too strong or weak.

A great place for a quick lunch and also a drink. I tried the Philly cheese steak and added the onion rings. My wife had the turkey club with chips. All the food was great and the owner was friendly, attentive and quick to serve us despite it being pretty busy at the time. The lunch menu has a lot of classic lunch items but no steaks etc. The dinner menu which begins at 4pm has the steaks and the more dinner appropriate items. There were numerous TV’s with various games on. We were staying in Santa Claus Indiana and this was recommended because Santa Claus doesn’t have many places to eat. Google took us down gavel roads to get here. Ha! It was very scenic and adventurous!

Our family of six ate here for dinner while on vacation. It was our first visit. The staff was very friendly and attentive, even as they got busy with the dinner rush. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the fried chicken. It was probably the best I’ve ever had. The white gravy on the mashed potatoes was so good. I loved the seasoning! My husband and son really liked the catfish fiddlers and two of my daughters enjoyed the pizza. My youngest daughter raved about the hot, crispy French fries. Everyone agreed it was the perfect dinner. The prices were reasonable, about $10-$11 per person. The atmosphere was very cozy, homey and clean. We will definitely return on our next trip.

Staff is great. I had a BLT and it had an abundance of B. My husband had the fried steak and he said it was done perfect. Wasn’t dry wasn’t hard tastes great. I also had the chicken and dumplings. I must say I’ve had better dumplings but these were still good.

The buffet has real potential what we got was good but it seemed that side items were running out in the middle of dinner and what appeared to be left overs from previous days were being put out. Also they were not able to keep up with demand on the chicken on the buffet. One half pan of chicken every 20 minutes won’t cut it with the amount of business that was there. The food was good but not great. Service was meh.
