Food was very good . We decided on the salad bar. Everything was fresh and cold like it should be. A very nice selection on the salad bar. Along with fruit and puddings. The clam chowder was fantastic. Nice and hot . They ask if we’d like some bread and they brought out fresh right from the oven .Service was also fantastic.

This place was s a gem in the rough for my dining experience. I normally do not eat soup with chicken in it’s name but the waitress convinced me to try their Chicken Alfredo Soup and it was delicious! I also had a Reuben Sandwich that I really liked.
The wait staff was very friendly and helpful and fun. I even got my picture taken with an old old patron before I left. I’m planning on taking my wife back the next time we go through on our way further up into the Thumb.

Arrived at 5:45 for dinner on a Friday night. 6 tables full in dining room and 5 people waiting for their take out it is currently 7:00 and still no food served to anyone. Waitress was telling people that they are only cooking one ticket at a time…..Terrible customer service. Unacceptable. Don’t waist your time coming here…

Have heard some bad things about the place after it reopened but thought I would give it a try. That was a mistake. Drink order was taken super quick and when they dropped them off didn’t even get the chance to say we were ready to order. Gave it over 15 minutes before we decided to leave. They were quite busy but when the table behind you sits down, gets drinks, and then immediately got to put order in something is wrong with your service people.

Our baseball team had a wonderful experience at The Charmont during a recent tournament. Krystal arranged everything and even agreed to stay open late to accommodate our group. The pizza was delicious, and the kids all had tons of fun bowling. The staff who helped us were all kind, happy, and engaged with us when we talked to them. It is rare to have such a smooth event like this. This is definitely a spot worth visiting!
