The Charmery ice cream intends to be fun, inventive, and a challenge to the conception of what ice cream can be. While our seven “Always” flavors ensure those seeking traditional ice cream flavors are always satiated, the remaining flavors rotate with the seasons or ice cream makers’ whims. In addition, there are always two dairy-free offerings. We draw inspiration from local agriculture and maker communities using real fruit, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, and dairy from grass-fed, hormone-free, happy cows.

best ice cream in baltimore! great selection of chocolate-y and fruity flavors, as well as milkshakes, toppings, and sundaes. they have classic flavors year round as well as some seasonal and unique flavors that rotate occasionally. their waffle cones are so delicious and made in house. my go to order is a scoop of maryland mud in a waffle cone with rainbow sprinkles. you can’t go wrong at the charmery.

This is a pretty popular place They had a couple of dairy-free options one of which is lemon lime sorbet and a coconut caramel swirl. I have to say the coconut caramel swirl with the absolute best vegan ice cream I have ever tasted! The chocolate ice cream Is a decent. Staff were friendly and nice.

We recently visited The Charmery, and while it’s a charming spot with a fun atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff, the ice cream just wasn’t for me. I found the waffle cone a bit too thick for my taste, and the flavor options didn’t quite hit the mark for my palate.
That said, the team working there was warm and welcoming, and the overall vibe of the place is really nice. It’s clear they put love into what they do, and I can see why others might enjoy it. This might be one of those places where you have to acquire the taste—so I’d still say give it a try for yourself. You might just find your new favorite scoop.
