Such a perfect time for outside seating. The ambiance was delightful. Our steaks were cooked exactly as requested. The Peach Mozzarella Balsamic Appetizer was devine.
Will definitely return.

Went to dinner with our son and daughter in law. Their treat. The Charleston is an old house turned into a nice restaurant. It is very cozy. Fantastic atmosphere. Great service. Nice easy pace. This is not fast food and we ate at a leisurely pace and had some time to converse. Started with the baked Brie and the clams with mussels. The Brie was very good, but needed more crostini slices. The clams had a bad aftertaste. Bitter. Nasty. The soups were hot and tasted good. Our son seemed to enjoy the buratta salad. The steaks were cooked perfectly. My halibut was overcooked. The interior was moist, but the outside was dry and hard. We all agreed that the entrees were over seasoned and over salted. That is saying something for me because I like salty food. Only one item on the dessert menu was disappointing. It sounded good, but none of us were in the mood for the chocolate mousse. It was our son’s second time here and he did say that going on a weekend night seemed much better with the food.

This place is absolutely incredible. We had our hesitations at first but we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Our waiter, Nathan, was amazing and had us laughing in several occasions. Overall he made us very comfortable and made sure we always had what we needed, one of the best waiters I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The food was delicious (melt in your mouth steaks) and the presentation was very nice. The scenery inside and outside is very warm and welcoming. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet, we’ll definitely be back for their brunch soon.

Very cute, strings of lights all over the trees made for a fun time. Lots of greenery, a fire pit, water fountain, umbrella for shade. The staff was amazing. The food was pretty good but very expensive. Indoor and outdoor seating, highly recommend outside.

My husband brought me here for a birthday/ anniversary dinner a while ago and although I loved the effort, I was let down. First of all the food was good but not worth the price we paid. The staff were not very welcoming and seemed to give special treatment to others, which I would assume to be common at a place such as this. I had expected a fine dining experience but there were a couple tables that were so loud (laughing and talking) that it was hard to enjoy the full experience. Although it seemed to have a cozy ambiance to it, I did not feel comfortable dining there. There are far better fine dining restaurants in my opinion that I would recommend to others.

Been coming here for a few years and I love to bring family and friends, this time it was just me and my wife, to celebrate my birthday. Normally we stick to the same kind of drinks from beginning to end but Caipirinhas were not the greatest this time, but since the restaurant was really busy with large groups we decided to switch to a bottle of wine. We had the Pork Belly with Scallops and Octopus for appetizers, both were incredibly well done and pleasant to the palate. For Entries we had Gaucho Steak and Steak and Crab. They came at the right temperature, perfectly seasoned and impeccably presented as always. One of the reasons I like coming to Charleston is that I constantly observe Chef Marco going out of his way to connect and find common ground with his guests. I have always taken nothing but good memories home from Charleston.

Great atmosphere and experience. We both ordered French onion soup for our appetizer which was some of the best soup Ive ever had. For our main course I went with the steak + crab with asparagus and my boyfriend ordered the ribeye with asparagus and mash potato. The steak was cooked perfectly and the flavor was phenomenal
. We can’t believe we haven’t been here before with it being in the heart of Draper. We can’t wait to go back and next time we want to make sure we save room for dessert. ☺️

The outdoor atmosphere has to be one of the best I have ever enjoyed. The setting with the lights, the little water fountain, the big trees, the old house. It’s beautiful and so relaxing. The service is also top notch, the servers don’t always know the answers but they are very good at giving good service.
The food feels like it could use a little more or take it up a notch or something to meet the price and the atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place and I almost always make sure I come here while I’m in town.

What a disappointment.
First, the food was phenomenal. The ambiance is idyllic. Was it worth the price? Not really.
There were stains on the tablecloths.
Service was a disaster. The waiter was an absolute joke. He was so preoccupied with the earpiece talking in his ear that he left halfway through taking our order. Our drinks were never filled. We had to go and get our own water from the table. We had to clear our own dirty dishes because they were piling up. It felt like this was opening night of a new restaurant, and no one knew what they were doing.
Unfortunately, after spending over $1,200. And getting the service that we did, we will stick with Sundance for that price.

Outstanding in every respect! We had Mother’s Day brunch here…they had a lovely pink blanket on every chair since it was a chilly morning! The food was amazing, the service was fabulous, the ambiance was over the top! The Charleston does not disappoint!
