Waffle sliders. Oh man, so good! The rest of the food we tried was good, but not on the same level as the sliders. Drinks were tasty, but a little over sugared. Definite upgrade from Mad River, but they need to decide if they are a BAR or a Restaurant. Right now, it’s decent as a mix-up, but more Bar.

Went to The Charles to watch the lions game, and they turned it on for me, which I appreciated. While there, I had the crab cake egg rolls told and the Charles waffle. Both were delicious, and I would order again!

I can here on a Tuesday night during corona, so the place was empty inside! Which I enjoyed considering the times.
In terms of drinks, I ordered a rosé and two different flavors of crush. In my opinion, the crushes were not that great. There was way too much club soda or whatever in there so it was more sparkly than anything else. The rosé was pretty good.
In terms of food, I got the chips and salsa ($5), a shrimp taco ($2-$3), and a fried chicken sandwich (~$15). The chips were WAYYY TOOO SALTY! I did not really enjoy them for that reason. They definitely need to cut back on the salt. The shrimp taco was pretty okay. I ordered the sauce on the side. I’m just not a huge fan of breaded shrimp and I should have read the menu more carefully but considering that, it was better than I expected it to be. The chicken sandwich was dry! Yes, I again ordered my sauce on the side, but even still, that sandwich should not have been as dry as it was. Additionally, they added tomatoes when I said I didn’t want it, but that’s very very minor since I could take it off myself. The fries were good!
The experience all in all was ehhh. I don’t know if I would go out of my way to come back. If I do, it’ll be to experience the place at night when there is a crowd (and after corona)!

We live in Miami and during our recent visit to Baltimore for the Ravens game, I discovered an exceptional establishment on Instagram. Upon experiencing it in person, I am pleased to share that we were met with outstanding service from friendly staff, including the managers and owners. Our bartender, in particular, was exceptional, making our visit truly enjoyable. I highly recommend considering a return visit to this establishment in the future.

Got a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and the table got bottomless mimosas. Potatoes were soggy but well seasoned. Sandwich was a little overpriced for $16. Turns out it was drag brunch so we stayed for that. Music was too loud even without the drag show. Channels for sports were dull. You can only replay the same college sports highlights so many times.

The Charles Baltimore is such a fabulous place to go (or host) holiday parties, brand events, and just hanging out. They have the best DJs, ambiance, bartenders, and layout for a great time. Also highly recommend the shareable drinks for group outings! So delicious and so fun.

Went on Wednesday night for happy hour, followed by a couple rounds of bingo. Lots of fun! I loved the cucumber cocktail I ordered off the happy hour menu. The place was packed, but the service was great.

Came here for the first time during CIAA weekend. The event was a 2000’s Brunch/DayParty…. the food was buffet style and yummy. The vibe was dope from beginning to end. Just going down memory lane with the dj and music was everything for me. The location inside and out was a vibe by itself. I’ll definitely go back.
