We drove about half an hour to try Charcoal Pit, and it was absolutely worth it. The food was fantastic and the portions were very generous. Our favorite was the charcoaled farouj, perfectly cooked and paired with the amazing Habibi sauce. The taouk specials were also excellent and highly recommended. On top of that, the owners were incredibly nice and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We enjoyed everything and will definitely be coming back.

A snug little place ran by (from what we noticed) a father and son, who are definitely keeping the Mediterranean quisine alive! It’s much better for take-out, because it has limited sitting inside (see pictures)… but this might just be a good thing because it seems people do take-out more than they dine-in, so you have a chance to get that little space all to yourself/selves! The food is great (you can tell it’s authentically Mediterranean), and freshly made (and yet the turnaround time is pretty good!). The tabbouleh salad that came with my Chicken Bowl was BURSTING with amazing flavors, and the meat definitely did their name (Charcoal Pit) justice because you could feel the flavor beautifully. I wish the meat portions in the “Bowl” dishes (see pictures) were a little bigger (again, wishful thinking). What you see in the pictures online (taken by them and posted by people) is what you get! I appreciated that. Overall, we loved the place and wished it was closer to home, because it would definitely be our go-to spot!

Blown away by everything we got from here tonight! We ordered the taouk special, Lebanese burger and the protein rice bowl. Everything was fresh and delicious! The flavor was insane- I genuinely have never had food like this before. Everyone has to try this spot- best food I’ve had in a long time!

perfection and i can’t wait to try everything on the menu. we drove over an hour to try their taouk roll up. it was well worth the drive; that sandwich was perfection. everything from the flavors (thank you for not being stingy with the toum!), the amount of ingredients to the size of the roll up (it’s huge) went well above our expectations. everyone there was super friendly and helpful, working nonstop (we went on a saturday evening) and seemed to really be enjoying themselves. food tastes different, so much better, when it’s prepared by people enjoying what they are doing. that’s a priceless touch that has to happen organically and not many places have that vibe. can’t wait to go back.

Taouk special: I was looking for something different. Never had Lebanese cuisine before. I definitely recommend it. So good. I’ve been back 3 times to have it ever since! Taste amazing!

Stopped by with my family and we tried a little bit of everything. Fattoush salad, taouk special, the Lebanese burger and the kebab trio.
Every item was delicious and well seasoned. The herbs and spices were unique enough to feel novel (I haven’t had a lot of exposure to Lebanese food) but wasn’t off-putting to my kids.
The taouk special was a show-stopper visually and offered a delicate balance of several flavors.
The burger (with extra patty) was a huge amount of food. It somehow nailed the sweet spot of having distinct toppings while still feeling like a cohesive classic burger.
The kebabs were wonderfully seasoned and tender. Particularly the beef kebab was melt-in-your-mouth texture. If I lived nearby a beef kebab would be my midday treat of choice.
The staff were welcoming and friendly. I hope the Charcoal Pit has a lot of success, they deserve it!

We had a fantastic experience ordering catering from here. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone at our gathering loved it. The family who runs the restaurant was incredibly kind and accommodating, and they even included a couple extra items as a thoughtful courtesy. Their generosity and great service really stood out. We’ll definitely be ordering from them again and highly recommend supporting this wonderful family-run spot!

Ordered take out tonight right before the snowstorm. We ordered the family feast (beef kabob, lamb kabob, chicken kabob) with rice pilaf and garden salad. We got an order of fries, hummus, and tabbouleh. We also got a side of habibi sauce. We loved EVERYTHING. The meat was cooked perfectly, the pita bread was soft and fresh, and the fries were so crispy and salted. The ordering on the phone was easy – and my husband said when he went to pick it up, the staff was warm and welcoming. We will be regular costumers. Love it!

This was a take-away order, and overall it was good—there’s definitely potential here. The beef bowl had nice flavor, but the portion felt a bit light for the price. I only got about five pieces of beef, and the rest was mostly onions and lettuce, so it didn’t feel as filling as I expected.
The beef wrap was my favorite—really tasty—but it was also on the skinny side with not much meat. If they added a little more beef, it would be a standout.
One small thing: the hummus was a little inconsistent. The hummus in the bowl tasted better than the side hummus, which wasn’t quite as flavorful.
I’d be open to giving them another try, but I’ll probably check out a couple local competitors first. I can see this being great with a few tweaks.
