My daughter took me and my husband here we had a great time. It’s a small local business. They are friendly and extremely popular place so call to make reservations. The food was great. The service was great and the atmosphere was great too. I had a great conversation with Kim and talked about travel. I recommend this place. My daughter had the shepherds pie and it was fantastic. I will be back to visit again.

It was absolutely amazing from the atmosphere and the feel to the extraordinary delicious food they had. My wife and I had a date night here and we found our place to keep going years to come.

Absolutely delicious. I got the shepherds pie and my husband got the pork. Both were well cooked, properly seasoned, and delicious. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely love this restaurant! For the area it definitely serves some of the most elegant amazing food that you have ever had! Small restaurant yet the feel is very comforting. The speciality drinks are incredible the serve is priceless. Super authentic. The whole place works together so well. I can mention the food but you really need to experience it for yourself. You get t star dining in downtown Reidsville! Who knew? We certainly didn’t. Just moved to Eden from Greensboro back in April. NEVER heard of this place! Yet we are thrilled to discover it. Been multiple times and NEVER disappointed. We cannot wait for Valentine’s Day.

Had dinner here with some customers. Hole in the wall place in the little town of Reidsville. I had the pork ribeye and it was good. Colleagues had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and scallops. All was good. The head chef came out, introduced herself and made sure all was good.

The Celtic Fringe is the kind of place you tell your friends about—and then insist on taking them there yourself. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a true local treasure.

The menu is a perfect blend of hearty comfort food and unique Celtic-inspired dishes you won’t find anywhere else. Everything we’ve tried—from the perfectly cooked steaks to the shepherd’s pie—has been full of flavor and beautifully prepared. You can tell they take pride in using quality ingredients.

The service is top-notch: friendly without being overbearing, attentive without rushing you. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like more than just a customer.

Whether you’re here for a casual lunch, a celebratory dinner, or just a pint and great conversation, The Celtic Fringe delivers every time. Absolutely worth the trip—this is a gem you’ll be glad you discovered!

*pro tip – try the tuxedo cake*

We stopped into Celtic Fringe after a round of golf nearby, and it’s my new favorite restaurant. I had the fish and chips; perfectly crispy outside, flaky inside, seasoned just right. My buddy Ethan ordered the bacon-wrapped meatloaf (they grind it in-house), and it was outstanding: super tender with a smoky bacon edge. You can tell the chef loves what she does. Every plate felt thoughtful and dialed-in.

We sat at the bar and were looked after by Kim, who couldn’t have been kinder. Little touches make a difference: genuine conversation, and a warm handshake with a “thanks for coming in” as we left. Also worth noting: a spotless 100 sanitation rating posted on the wall. I have never seen that before!

We enjoyed it so much we booked a return visit in a few weeks to bring our wives. We’re about 45 minutes away, and the drive is absolutely worth it for food and service like this. Five stars without hesitation. I can’t recommend Celtic Fringe (and Kim at the bar) highly enough ❤️

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Lovely small-ish Gaelic restaurant with deep wood and intricate ironwork decor. Sitting is comfortable and private. So it can be very intimate or hold a larger party. Hats off to the chef for her spectacular menu and delicious recipes. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best dining experience my husband and I have ever had! Kim, the owner, introduced herself to us immediately, shared about the history of the restaurant, and proceeded to wait on us for the rest of the evening. Kim asked if we’d like to sit outside, instead of at the crowded bar, and we ended up having a private evening on the patio since everyone else was inside (how cool!). The atmosphere was amazing – great music & great lighting. From the freshly made bread and garlic butter, to the apricot chicken and fish and chips, to the key lime pie — this restaurant has outdone themselves! We told Kim we were celebrating our anniversary and we were surprised with “happy anniversary” written in chocolate on our dessert plate AND a card wishing us a happy anniversary that was signed by the individual staff members — I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS KIND OF SERVICE! The entire night was perfect and we will be customers for life! 10/10 recommend all around!

We stopped in for dinner without reservations and they were able to squeeze us in, but this is a by-reservation restaurant. The dining area is very quaint, it may fit a large party of limited numbers but it was great for our date night. We ordered scotch eggs as an appetizer and they were crispy and delicious! The portion size was great for two. We got the fish and chips and the shepherds pie, and I was very pleased with how it came out. The fish for me was okay, the breading was great, and the fries were delicious, but the shepherds pie was the real winner. I love authentic shepherds pie with lamb, the potatoes were well whipped and a little crispy on top. The gravy was thick and not greasy like some I’ve had. Finally, that creme brulee was devine! That was a perfect end to an excellent meal. To add, service was great, they had guiness on tap, and our server was pleasant. It was a great night and we look forward to coming back!
