The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very pleasant to be around. I didn’t care for the bangers and mash. I’ve never had a banger sliced and put on top. It was just a smoked sausage that was flat top grilled. Nothing special in my opinion and neither was the fish. IF we try this place again will definitely go with something different. On the plus side, the variety of beer was really nice as was my Black and Tan.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Went here for a work lunch and had the bangers and mash and that was fantastic. The Shepard pie and Ruben looked fantastic as well. The staff were very friendly. Am looking forward to coming back and trying some more food options and some cold options on tap. Highly recommend.

I am giving this two stars because the service was great. The food though is 1 star. This was my first time here. And the food was not just bad. It was absolutely horrible. Maybe I just came on a bad day with my wife. I paid 75 dollars for 2 drinks and 1 appetizer and 2 meals. I mean the food was so bad that we couldn’t finish.

Went downtown to an event, The Bash…husband went to see what our options were for food. He stood at the bar and couldn’t get waited on so we ordered food from the Pennant and picked it up in 15 minutes. The wait for the bathroom was absolutely nuts!! You would think if they were having an event, they might think about port-a potty?? The band was excellent!!

Great Ruben! Decent beer selection on tap. Plenty of Irish drinks and food items to choose from. This place has been a staple of downtown Topeka for decades. If you haven’t been, give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

The food is authentic and quite good. The Reuben is the best and the only one that could compare to my own at home. The fish and chips was very good as well. Too many fries, not enough substantial food. At $18 a plate, one should not leave hungry.

I made a reservation for their private room less than 12 hours before I needed it all on Facebook messenger. They were polite and accommodating. I can not say how incredible they are. They rock!

Stopped by on a road trip thru town and wasn’t disappointed however bangers and mash was a polish version not Irish. Would suggest stopping by however drinks and service was splendid.
