This is my 2nd time. My first experience was good. This time not so much.. the food was good except they forgot my bread and told the lady. She then brings it out. The bread isn’t cooked. It was raw. Was disappointed. The lady didn’t seem to care about it.

I’m so disappointed. This place used to be so good when it first opened. However the last few times we have been in have been the same story. It’s been a while and we thought we would give it another chance but we won’t be back after this. Service was not up to par at all. It was not busy and we sat with our drinks empty for a while, I had to ask for my side salad, we had to wait and wait for our order to be taken. All the servers seem more interested in their phones than giving good service. The food was okay. I wouldn’t say it was worth the money we spent on it though especially when it took so long. Also there was a very annoying loud buzzer that went off about every 10-15 mins maybe the dishwasher or something but I’ve never heard anything like that in a restaurant before. I hope the owners/management of this place take heed of all the recent bad reviews and do something to fix it.

Be sure to define well done as “not burnt” otherwise that’s what you get. Waitress was good and polite. Asked if everything was okay, but complaining about something ordered well done seemed wrong–but seriously–burnt? The pasta was swimming in sauce.
Just be clear about what you don’t want as well as what you want and I’m sure it will be fine.
I had waited a while to be seated although there was no one else in the restaurant. By the time I got my food I already felt discounted, so I just ate what I could.

Ordered again not asking for well done, burnt again.
5/13/23 Didn’t order the chicken parmesan this time. Ordered the special which was grilled, not fried‐‐ burnt again, the black tasted like charcoal and once again I didn’t eat it. They took a couple dollars off my bill.
This is getting old.

Went here on a Friday night, 2/6/25. The place was not busy and our group waited over 1.5 hours for our orders to arrive. When they brought out the entrees some were not really hot. Rumor has it that this place is shutting down at the end of the month. If this is how it is typically operated, it is no wonder. If they are short staffed and doing the best they can, just say so and not just let your guests figure this out and become cranky.

Excellent food, service, and drinks. Shout out to Kim (00 not DD), our server, was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. I love the twist on the Bang bang shrimp. I NEED your Brussel Sprouts recipe. The “E” burger was very tasty, and the fries were just fantastic. I can’t rave enough about the food, but I will say the cocktails were just as good. I recommend the French 75 or Bees Knees for gin drinkers and for dessert a Chocolate Martini or the Gelato, we had both. Love the bar too! Forgot to mention the great atmosphere……

Food takes to long to be served items that should have been served first were last by the time food was served it was cold
Burgers dry and way overcooked over all look like it sat under heat lamps over 1 hour wait to get horrible food.
Service was mediocre.
Price vs quality terrible
Add the insult of them adding tips to your bill without your input as to service or food quality.
Shame atmosphere is actually pretty good

My wife and I came here for our 11th anniversary on a Saturday. Everything was perfect… and then the music started. We couldn’t hold any kind of conversation die to the volume and acoustic environment reverberating the sound waves off of literally every surface. However, the service was top notch and the food was absolutely delectable. Will definitely be returning on another night that doesn’t have someone’s iPod connected to a 200 watt PA system.

The service was great. I ordered the fried catfish, cold slaw, and fries. BlackBerry Cobler for Desert. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was laid back, the staff professional and efficient. I definitely will be back with Friends and family.

Brussel sprouts appetizer was really good. Fish and chips were eh , salmon was cooked ok and carrots that came with it were great. The old cellar old fashion was perfect. Service was mediocre but they did have a wedding rehearsal dinner taking up half the restaurant.

Initially, The Cellar seemed poised to become a new favorite restaurant of ours. However, shortly after being seated and placing our order for the spinach dip, we quickly noticed the experience taking a downturn. To start with, it took half an hour to receive the appetizer. Then, upon receiving the appetizer, we promptly realized a flaw in the item’s description: it claimed the chips were homemade, but they clearly were not. If they are indeed homemade (which I highly doubt), they certainly weren’t anything special.
Moving on, we proceeded to order our main entrees. I opted for the Chicken Parmesan, while my dad chose the salmon. Shortly after getting our spinach dip, our main dishes arrived, which contradicts the typical notion of an “appetizer.” Mind you, we had been in the restaurant for about an hour by this point. The Chicken Parmesan was mediocre, nothing extraordinary. Although the chicken portion was quite substantial, the batter on it tasted burnt. The salmon was ordinary, but unfortunately, one edge was also burnt.
In conclusion, our experience at The Cellar fell short of expectations. Perhaps others might enjoy it more than we did, but for us, it felt overpriced and disappointingly underwhelming.
