Our first visit ever. Thursday at 3 PM, so not busy. A Bar and Grille just two miles from the campground on a rainy day is what brought us here. Great food, great service, and inexpensive Craft IPA (bottled, not on tap) is what will bring us back. Server Emily was excellent! Loaded potato cheese soup was the best I have ever tasted. We also had the cheesy bread (basically a no-sauce pizza crust smothered in stringy cheese, marinara on the side), patty melt, and pepper jack burger. All excellent in our opinion. Yes it’s a bar but I think a lot of the food/soup is home made scratch made. We will return! I wish I had this place in my home town.

We sat at the Bar and Bev introduced herself to us with a warm handshake and let us know she was the owner. She poured our drinks and told us the bartender would be right over. We split a basket of fries that had come straight from the fryer and were delicious. Before leaving we asked our bartender is there was any way we could get a tiny to-go container with salt (we were camping and forgot all of our seasoning!). Bev said she was happy to help and brought us a full salt shaker to take home. We watched her interact with everyone like they had been friends of hers forever. If we camp again in this area we will DEFINITELY be back for a visit!!!!!!

We have tried this place several times. So this is not based on one experience. First let me say their wings, cheese bread & pizza are pretty good. They need to offer less on their menu if they CANT provide the same quality to their other menu items. Their Cedar Slim came a large sloppy mess like they threw a huge piece of ham on the bread without any preparation. They made my Cedar Club without my Turkey so basically a ham sandwich and NEVER called to ask if I still wanted it. The fries were barely cooked. They had my number to call me because a few days ago we placed a carry out and agreed to wait 90 minutes for their cheese bread, we understood it was a holiday weekend. Half way home I received a call that they forgot to put the cheese bread in our carry out. The pizza box we carried out was actually our onion rings? They offered to credit us the cheese bread for next time. But nothing for the inconvenience. Today when we decided to try again I mentioned the cheese bread & told her they said to mention it the next time we come back, so I did, Kim was rude when taking my order & even seemed irritated that I even called. She was even “snotty”when they picked up the order. If you don’t mind waiting a long time for pizza give them a try but I have tried 3 other places closer to our place that equal or exceed the same expectations for pizza. We spent close to $60 this trip without the cheese bread that we already paid for last time. It wasn’t complimentary for their mistake. I didn’t even end up eating my meal it was terrible. Hence the photo. It was an Expensive disappointment with bad customer service.

Stopped in from camping and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food you get and how tasty it was. We had the perch dinner and it was great!

Great experience. Very traditional American tavern, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food quality is top notch, better then I expected to be honest. I had the house burger medium rare and it came out exactly how I wanted. Very generous portions as well. I would definitely recommend and will be back.
