If you’re looking for authentic Italian food then this is the place. Best to book although they do,do walk-ins. It’s a limited menu but all excellent and home made pasta to boot so you won’t find fresher (unless you make it yourself). It’s also very reasonably priced.

We stumbled across this restaurant whilst exploring Desenzano in May 2024 and it didn’t disappoint. We chose to sit inside and we were struck by the beauty of the aesthetics. The service was warm, friendly, professional and inviting! The only thing I would say is that there isn’t a lot of options to choose from for food. I would assume that this is because it’s a small restaurant and everything is cooked fresh to order….which isn’t a bad thing. However, the downside is the options are very limited if you have any food allergies. We both had the meat balls and they were cooked beautifully, you can even see the chef cooking your food. Overall it was a wonderful experience and would recommend going!!

We went here on our last night in Desenzano and discovered it was the best food we had in Desenzano. It was not the usual pre prepared pizza sold elsewhere. Home prepared good food made (literally) in front of you. It was tasty, well prepared, and well presented. And the service was friendly. I don’t usually post a photo, but in this case, it is worth it.

This place was recommended to us by our Tui rep. The food, which was authentic Italian was cooked by one lady and was exceptional as was the wine recommended by the proprietor. It was so good we went 3 times in one week. The other places we visited were OK but not as good.

We ordered truffle spaghetti, canalloni, ribs and pork. The first 3 remained strictly average and the pork, was either extremely overdone or simply microwaved. Waiter took a full plate of food from my wife and did not even bat an eyelid.
