Great food and service even in the middle of peak lunch time and they were swamped. Our waitress kept us full of refills and and every thing we needed for the Halloween Lunch Friday. It was a pleasant surprise for us being from out of town and coming to this nice little restaurant in downtown Clover. We will definitely be back.

We tried The Cattle Car for the first time today and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Triple B and the Gamecock burgers—both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Our sides, the orzo pasta salad and fruit cup, were fresh and tasty additions to the meal.
The spiced pineapple old fashioned was amazing, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. There are so many tempting menu items that we’re already planning our next visit to try more!

I got the Smokestack on a potato bun with seasoned fries and cattle car sauce. The burger was delicious, better than beef patties served at fast food joints. I liked the incorporation of mixed greens in the burger as opposed to a regular old piece of lettuce. The cattle car sauce is very good as well, but the fries were a bit salty. HOWEVER, the star of the show that wasn’t photographed is actually the sweet potato fries!! It comes with icing or some sort of sweet sauce which was also yummy. It wasn’t mushy, but chunky and crispy, perfect texture and taste. I think this may be the best place that makes sweet potato fries. I’d come again just for those alone. Nice spot for some good burgers and awesome sweet potato fries.

We tried this place today after spotting it online, great atmosphere and service was phenomenal right off the bat.The sweet tea was so good that I knew the food would be good before it even got to the table. We all had various burgers and everyone enjoyed their meal. Would definitely come back!

Love this place! We stayed in clover and had a great burger as well as good drinks. Staff is incredibly friendly. Fun place downtown and treat you like Norm from Cheers. Bloody Mary was literally the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had!!!! Skylar our bartender was the sweetest and nicest bartender that I have ever had. Place is a must visit in Clover!!!!!!

This is a great new addition to downtown Clover. I had to try it for myself. We arrived around 1:30pm on a Sunday afternoon and we were able to get a table right away. The place was full with people waiting by the time we left. It is tastefully decorated, but keep in mind you are in one main open area so it’s a little loud with the chit chat. We both got burgers. My boss got the Gamecock burger in Texas toast with fruit cup and I got the yard goat burger with sweet potato fries and their special sweet dipping sauce. (Be sure to ask for the sauce). They even have their own tissue paper in the tray (nice touch). Mine was delicious! I would only recommend maybe getting two patties because I chose one and it seemed to be more bun than burger. The patties are like smash burgers, so they are thin, so get two if you want more meat. Good selection on the menu! I will be back! A+++

First of all, upon arrival I had to use the ladies room and it was the most beautiful ladies room I’ve ever seen in a bar. Pink sink, toilet and a Marilyn Monroe pic too. Of course you know I also had to check out the men’s too. It was done in black with Frank Sinatra gracing the back of the toilet. Anyway…now let’s talk about the food. I had the homemade chicken spicy egg rolls which were delish. The hot pepper smash burger and seasoned fries were done well too. I only have one suggestion: heat the bun too. My bun was almost cool to the touch. This little detail could make such a huge impact on the overall taste of the burger.
I’d definitely go again. Whoever designed this restaurant did an awesome job. They even thought of buying comfortable bar stools! Great job and great food.

Cute little bar/restaurant. I LOOOOVE their burgers! Their appetizers were amazing as well! Our server was amazing! Everything was amazing! She stayed on top of everything.

Tried The Cattle Car last night with my husband. And I must say— I’m very impressed. The food was tasty. The decor was cute (loved the bathroom!). The prices are great. Had a nice selection of bourbon (I might’ve tried a few). I feel like it was a very well thought out plan and is a perfect addition to Clover!
I got the Triple B burger and my husband got their cheesesteak. Both yummy and their wings were pretty good too!!!

I had an awesome experience yesterday! The food came out super fast, and the burgers were amazing—especially loved the perfect bun. The pasta salad on the side was a great choice, and the bartender was really friendly, which made the whole visit even better. Definitely recommend checking this place out!
