I ordered online and did pick up. Lady had a very friendly greeting that made me smile!
I saw a $8 lunch special for 6pc catfish nuggets and I placed two orders of it- one spicy, one non spicy. I didn’t know it also came with fries but I added a large order of fries with it. Which I do not regret bc those fries (along with the catfish) was BOMB DIGGITY. A fried food joint has my heart and currently preggo belly if they have amazing fries; theirs is fresh hand cut and the seasoning is perfect for my taste!
The fried catfish nugget lunch special came with side of bread, pickles, pickled Jalapeno, fries, and two sauces. I devoured it all- the catfish has that delectable cornmeal crunch and bold flavor and I don’t usually care for dipping sauce but it was delicious, I used it all. Is it tartar or some Cajun remoulade, I don’t know but it’s amazing.
Now I have to come back to try their catfish fillets and fried oysters and curious if they make their own boudin balls – guess I’ll have to find out!

Went there 1/11/25 to pick up a call in order. They open at 12 on Sunday so I called around 12. I placed a 3 piece catfish steak order around the same time they open. Order taker says give her about 20+25 minutes,I arrived there around 12:41 order was not ready until 12:57 should have been ready way before then. I was so disappointed with the quality of the food and the service,because they had me sitting there waiting on some paper thin catfish steak.The food was pretty expensive also, it was not worth the price.I will never return to this establishment again. And on top of that I ordered a whole catfish for my spouse, and it was awful, it was burnt, tasted old. If I could get my money back I would. The food was horrible,who owns this establishment,spent almost $50.00 bucks for some crap.

Ordered the spicy/cajun fillets tasted like sea water, the fries looked & tasted like they had been old or kicked around on the floor. Also ordered a regular fillet basket and ended up with catfish nuggets which i didn’t ask for. The atmosphere is not too welcoming nor does it smell anything like food inside. My order & experience was a smooth 0/10.

Regular here ♀️! First off , i’ve ordered from this location manyyy times and the quality of the food is always the same ! Fresh , hot and well seasoned. You can honestly tell they are about consistency .. They will usually have a 25 min wait time , just as any other really good food place . So i’d advise calling in your order ! I usually get their 5pc catfish fillets half spicy half nonspicy but that new Daily Special for chicken is the bomb!!! love love love the girls working the front❤️!

I got 7 spicy fillets $25 and a large onion ring it also came with fries and bread. The fish was very fresh and hot cooked to order. I felt my fillets were on the smaller size a bit but still good. My onion rings were nice they are beer battered I was hoping for home made,my fresh cut potato fries with season were really good I didn’t expect them to be so good. When I realized u had to pay for hush puppies it was too later they don’t come with fish and fries that was definitely a let down. They offer military discount which was really nice. My only knock is fillet size and no hush puppies accompany the order. My total was $34 for 7 fillets and onion rings and it comes with fries few slices bread. It’s best to call ahead because counter order til wait time to get food closer to 20mins

I eat their spicy fish fillet plates all the time. Good food and they make it fresh while you wait which is a plus for me. They also have desserts. I have had the banana pudding and the cake pops. The pudding is really sweet, a little too sweet which is a lot coming from me but the cake pops are delicious. I would recommend this place

My 1st time trying Catfish Connection in Cedar Hill. I was having a decision about it being hard to find a whole Catfish with the tail. Most places only have fillets. I was driven here and, told wait until you try it. So after waiting in the car (I don’t mind as long as it’s fried, died and laid to the side. Cook it like your life depends on it ) It was good. I didn’t place the order but, on the next trip I will ask for extra seasoning (When you don’t know you don’t know). I’ll have to make another trip from Fort Worth to Cedar Hill. It was worth it. I did sample a Shrimp from the Fish & Shrimp Basket. No complaints from us.

Been wanting to try this place, finally had time today. Got the 2p fillet with fries and was suppose to come with onions peppers etc. Did get the peppers/onions. But that’s my fault cause it does say check your order before leaving and I didn’t. But back to the fish, very small fillets, price right but taste old but seasoned well and really don’t think it’s catfish but could be wrong, now fries are good….. not a good experience. Disappointed!

Went here with a young man that was given the name 2 piece by the young lady that took our order. The service was friendly and the catfish steaks were seasoned to perfection. They are a little pricey, but I’ll pay for hot, fresh, and flavored! Oh yeah ….. Dem fries was hittin’ too!

I saw the lunch special sign, and thought I’d check it out. The younglady (Ty) who took my order was very friendly and accommodating to my plethora of questions. I chose the catfish nugget special, man was I surprised. The food quality was awesome, and more than enough to satisfy this fat soldier. Overall, great price, meal presentation, and Ty was truly a sweetheart with a very warming customer service attitude!!
