I just found this place today. I’m always looking for small mom and pop places to try. I hit the jackpot with this one. They are understaffed so you might wait a few minutes for a table, but it’s worth it. The selection is great and the food is delicious. The gumbo is full of seafood and the NOLA BBQ shrimp is seasoned perfectly. Be sure to order a side of bread with it; hot French bread.
I gave it a 4 for atmosphere but I was just looking for a good seafood lunch; it wasn’t a special occasion. Even the iced tea was excellent.

Came for the GF onion rings because they are so good! Not a gf restaurant but most items are gf. They bread their own items and their fryer is gf! Today’s lunch – onion rings and buffalo shrimp (too busy eating – forgot to take a Pic) .

This place is a little hole in the wall, but the food is amazing. The fried seafood has a great batter, and the oysters were fresh and big. The portion sizes were good, and the prices were reasonable. My favourite was the bbq shrimp appetizer, though. All around a great experience.

I was SOO happy to get some gluten free fish fry while I was in Nola after several disappointments. This place was absolutely delicious and it’s been decades since I had catfish and fried oysters this good that I knew wouldn’t make me sick. Thank you, The Catch!

The onion rings were the best ever! Had the grilled speckled trout. Perfectly seasoned and grilled. Potato salad was delish. And the best is you can get a side of fried shrimp for $8.50. There was at least a dozen. They use Louisiana shrimp and they are lightly battered!!! The server/owner asked if we had food restrictions! What? Awesomeness. This place will not disappoint! Thank you so much for good food, good service and a clean bathroom!

My cousin and I stopped in for lunch. We were greeted quickly. Service was nice. We had onion rings as we’re connoisseurs, LOL. We ordered a large but we’re sure it was a small order. That was our only issue. The food was hot and super fresh. Prices are extremely reasonable. I had fish & shrimp and my cousin had a fish sandwich. The seafood was cooked to perfection and the fries were crisp. We will definitely be back. We love supporting small businesses. Kudos to offering great quality food.

Wonderful spot with delicious gluten free fried food and several other GF non fried options. It’s so nice to have so many options on one menu. The fried cheese bites were SO GOOD. And the most perfectly fried oysters I’ve ever had. Service was prompt and friendly.

If you’re looking for fresh abs perfectly seasoned seafood, this is the place! We visited here for a late lunch, and it was very good. The food was served hot, and the waitress was very attentive. Pictured is the fried fish platter, blackened speckled trout, and seasoned garlic shrimp. Would recommend and visit again!

Great gluten-free onion rings and fried shrimp!! Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about gluten intolerance. I appreciated the laid back environment. My friend really liked their grilled shrimp and red fish too!
