Had the halibut sandwich and grilled salmon with mashed potatoes, gravy, and steamed broccoli. Our waitress was super sweet and nice. She was on top of drink refills and always had the sweetest smile on her face.

Comfort food! Traditional American comfort food. They also serve breakfast all day. I love breakfast! We were there on a Monday just driving around stopped in Soldotna for lunch. It’s very big inside and it has a nice atmosphere and a good setup. The portions are fairly big. I was only able to finish half my roast beef. My partner got a burger. It was pretty big and he could only finish half of his as well.

I’m visiting Soldotna for a couple days and I’ve really enjoyed my meals at The Catch. The portions are huge and the staff are very friendly. The halibut fish and chips were fantastic and I could only finish half because the pieces were so large. My favorite part of their menu is the homemade bread that they serve with each meal. I liked it so much that I came back for breakfast to order their French toast.

On the way home from camping and eating freezed died food for 4 days told the beautiful wife to find us a good place to eat. Well, The Catch is one you might throw back. Ordered the sea food plate. 48$ of over cooked salmon, almost burnt scallops, and dry shrimp and no flavor. Also had the seafood fettuccine. Salmon, scallops and shrimp were cooked exactly the same over cooked and no tast. We had calamari and ot was straight from Casco but it was cooked perfectly. All in all 230$ in my opinion throwing this one back and finding a better place.

The best table service experienced thus far [8yrs] on the peninsula. Our server was extremely aware of her tables. We never waited for anything but our food to be cooked. Breakfast was the choice of the day. Eggs & hashbrowns were cooked really well! Definitely excited because that’s hard to come by at most local [Breakfast] restaurants. Pancakes were light, fluffy & delicious [same as eggs, hashbrowns]

Had the baked halibut special with a vesty fresh salsa on top. It was a great dish. The acid from the salsa made the perfectly cook fish really pop. It was delicious. It came with mash potatoes and gravy, as well as broccoli. The best thing I’ve eaten in quite some time.

Very good food! I ordered the Catch Omelet. It was delicious! I usually don’t eat hash browns but everything was on point I had to try them, did not disappoint, toast was done right as well.

In our party we Found a nickel in the mashed potatoes- they offered free meal and free dessert. He chose chocolate cake and it had a hair in the middle of it. They offered a 20 percent discount to others in party. The owner addressed the issue by laughing about the situation. Not impressed. I would have been terribly embarrassed.
