We had grilled catfish and sausage, and fried catfish and shrimp. They were wonderful. Fish is juicy, tender, and very fresh tasting. Fried shrimps can go head to head with the best Japanese tempura shrimp, they were tender and succulent. The grilled fish had a very nice Cajon flavor, and most importantly, all the catfish served had no trace of the strong fishy taste when they aren’t absolutely fresh.

Hot & Fresh. Stopped by to fibd out if there was any relation with the old Shrimp Galley. Sadly they said no. Ordered kids chicken strip meal anyway. Was pleasantly surprised with fresh and hot strips. The hush puppy was delicious. Fries were ok but didn’t taste fresh cut. Overall good place to stop for some fresh cooked food.

My husband and I decided to try The Catch on 1/5 for a quick lunch date. It’s a walk up, order and seat yourself restaurant. I ordered the boil and he ordered the shrimp tacos with fried okra. The food came out in a decent time frame from when we ordered. The food was flavorful and we enjoyed it. Prices were also affordable. We’ll be back!

First time here. I had popcorn shrimp basket and added a catfish filet. It was very good. Wish I had eaten here sooner. I’m sure their other dishes are tasty as well. A coworker from New Orleans told me this is the place to go. The staff was very kind as well.

Upon walking in I was expecting a full service restaurant atmosphere. It was an order at the cashier and seat yourself. After placing order we sat down and had our appetizers on the table within a couple of minutes. Or meals came a couple minutes later. Everything was piping hot and fresh. We both ordered the Catch 22, gator bites and a fried oyster basket, there was enough food for 4 people. The entire meal was amazing! The service was fast, friendly and very helpful. BEST SEAFOOD I HAVE EVER HAD IN LUBBOCK!

This place was Awesome! The service was great! The food was great! The absolute best seafood in Lubbock!!!! We will be going back! We had fish (2 kinds) shrimp, gator and fried oysters it was all so perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had all our food in 5 minutes. We were very impressed! Loved it!

The cashier was so sweet! It was only her 3rd day, but she was extremely helpful. My meal was yummy, but my corn on the cob was very overcooked. The grilled shrimp & potatoes were tasty. I tried my mom’s fried cat fish. It was salty for my taste but she loved it. My daughter enjoyed her meal as well. 🙂

I ordered take out and this is how it came. The lid melted because they were in such a rush to kick me out. The salad had no chicken, there was no crawfish, no potatoes, and just 5 random shrimp in a box with toast. And since the lid melted the sauce spilled all over the car because nothing was packaged well so now I will have to get my carpets professionally cleaned to get the smell out.

It’s more or less of a fancy Long John silvers. My brother was impressed with the catfish I couldn’t find anything that stood out even with the front cashiers recommendations. The environment is nice and it’s open layout overall it’s worth a check out.
