Meh… My hubs got the gumbo and he liked it. We both got a dozen oysters, they tasted fresh and we’re pretty good. The beer selection was terrible; your choice of Bud Light or Michelob Ultra. The servers were all teenagers, friendly but not very good service. There didn’t seem to be a manager around. The restaurant was not busy but all the servers kept themselves busy; which may be why it took so long to get the gumbo. I understand that it will take some skill to shuck oysters, *sigh* several oysters were cut up and covered in broken shell. It’s most likely that this happened during shucking but, given the venue and staff, that’s to be expected. Probably won’t return. We’ll keep looking for other places to get the oyster fix. (Please give me a thumbs up if you found this review helpful.)

Living and working in Lindale Tx, I have the opportunity to try many local places frequently. I have always had a great meal at The Catch, but when I ordered the fish tacos, they were absolutely mouthwatering, crunchy and flavorful. Wow, I am ready to do this again very soon!

We were looking for a fried seafood on the way home from Thanksgiving holiday and found this place. I had the combo fried shrimp and catfish. It was good… the shrimp was flavorful. If you like fried seafood and po-boys this is the place.

We stopped here on our way to New Orleans. The catfish was flaky with a nice corn meal batter that was not over done. The grilled shrimp had just enough seasoning and not over power the flavor of the shrimp. Fries were crisp. Our server was very polite and prompt with the food and my glass never went dry.

Love this place!!! Food is excellent & options are generous. Wait staff is excellent also. Best seafood I’ve found in this area since I moved here 9 years ago from Maryland!! When you order shrimp here you get large shrimp, not those tiny ones that Red Lobster serves. Will definitely be back!!!!

We like this place and have eaten here a few times. The boiled shrimp is great. The combo catfish and shrimp is good to. The gumbo is ok. The folks are friendly and get your food out fairly quick. We will be going back again.

The pasta was great.. the white cheddar grits are disgusting!!! Service was right on point. Fried green tomatoes were extra extra crispy and over cooked. I didn’t have this prob on the last visit. The pasta alone gets 3 stars! I’ll probably second guess when the taste for seafood comes about!!

Went there twice. The food was okay. Comparable to Long John Silvers. It is a bit pricey for pre-battered, frozen food that is just thrown in a fryer. Although friendly, none of the staff there have any pep in their step. They got rid of ordering at the counter, which is nice. Bottom line, I don’t think I’ll be back.

I love this place! The shrimp are huge, the white fish is perfect, the beans and rice are smoky and the key lime pie is heaven! On my next trip I can’t wait to check out their crab! Yummy!
