The Hungry Company
After our company got out of work from the convention center, we headed down to The Carlile Room. Our guys were all very excited to find a restaurant that offered some good burgers. I wasn’t too hungry but found the fusilli butternut squash cream pasta to be absolutely perfect! Im very happy that I decided to order it. I also fancied the triple coconut cream pie. My husband ordered thr cookie and a side of ice cream and said at the end “alright.. thats definitely worth 10 dollars.” Over all we had a good time and I would return again just for that fusilli dish.

Enjoyed a lovely and quiet dinner on a Sunday evening. The salmon was delicious and a large portion cooked perfectly. Also enjoyed the “bring my flowers now” cocktail that was unique and tasty. The service was timely. Everyone was friendly and good natured. Prices are a little high, but I felt worthwhile. The atmosphere is quirky but comfortable. The soundtrack made for a nice vibe.

I cannot imagine ever again eating anyplace else when going to a show at the Paramount.

The menu changes according to the season, as is right…

My date and I shared a mushroom fusilli that was utterly divine. She had a lovely salad, too.

Yum, yum & more yum… perfect in every way.

The food was surprisingly mediocre given the hype and prices at this place. Salmon and pasta was quite salty, while the burger was just okay. The schnitzel was probably the best dish, but it was still quite mid.

Amazing food and the staff was awesome! They were friendly and informative of the food and the surrounding sites. The peanut stew was delicious, but unfortunately, they said it was only on the menu while Lion King was playing across the street. The Salmon my wife has was also amazing.

Only rating their sticky toffee pudding. It’s not the kind you’d find in Cartmel, England, however the components together pack as much flavor! I’m happy to have a place where I can order a reliably good sticky toffee pudding.

The service was great and the drinks were even better! The food was good too, but for some of the prices, I don’t know- I guess I expected something a little more. The baked cheese was delicious, but you only need 2 of the 4 foccaccia pieces because there’s not enough cheese to warrant all 4. The burger was a little on the small side, and though it said medium it was more like medium well. I still went again, but passed on the burger and went for schnitzel *which was delicious! It was cute how they had themed drinks to the Paramount theater across the street.

The Carlile Room in Seattle is an outstanding dining spot that offers a delightful experience. I decided to try their hamburger, and it turned out to be an excellent choice.

Highlights:

• Food Quality: The hamburger and fries were delicious. Despite being a seemingly simple dish, few places manage to get it right, and Carlile Room excels in this regard. The flavors were spot-on, and every bite was satisfying.
• Service: The attention from the staff was incredible. They were attentive without being overbearing, allowing me to enjoy my meal in peace. This balance contributed significantly to the overall positive experience.
• Ambiance: The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The cozy setting, combined with tasteful decor, made for a comfortable dining environment. It’s located in a great part of Seattle, which adds to its charm.
• Menu: Although the menu isn’t extensive, each option is well-curated. The limited selection ensures that each dish is a good choice, making it easier to decide what to order.

Conclusion:
Dining at the Carlile Room was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Whether you’re dining alone, as I did, or with company, the environment is conducive to a pleasant meal. The attention to detail in both food and service makes it a highly recommended spot in Seattle. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu.

The burgers were great, but the schnitzel rocked my world. 10/10, fantastic, will absolutely come back. They even had a fun special menu for ECCC!

Pro:
-Honored our reservation when we called to let them know we would be 10 minutes late because of stopped traffic.

Con:
-Table was a high top instead of the the standard we had reserved.

Pro:
-Drinks and baked cheese app were lovely.

Con:
-The baked cheese app was barely enough for two people, though it is served with 4 bread triangles. Two were eaten plain. The drinks, while tasty, were surprisingly small (like one shot and then lots of garnish).

Pro:
-Surprisingly large portion of fries with burger, burger was a nice medium. Ragu had a nice flavor. Lemon sorbet was delicious.

Con:
-The burger bun was very burnt, so had to remove the insides and eat with a fork. Ragu portion was a bit small compared to other entrees.

Price for 3 drinks, one app, two entrees, and two sorbets before tip: ~170$. Very pricey for what you get, however overall the food was fine. The noise was a bit much, and the seating is very close together but it wasn’t too bad. Not sure we’ll return, but we’re not upset we came.
