Ordered food online at 2030. Said 45 minutes. We called to see where our food was after one and half hours, to be told it’s on way be 5 minutes. we have called several times, to be told the same now half an hour later still no food. Called to say want refund, to be told they will call us back. Another 20 minutes still no callback back. Call again for our money back to be told we have to go and collect our food. Still no food or refund or proof of processed refund! Disgusting service so rude! Stolen our money. Avoid at all costs!!!

My partner and I decided to eat in the Cardamom Saturday night, bad mistake.
We asked the waiter if he could recommend wine and starters and he was clueless and just kept suggesting popadoms! We chose a wine to have it plonked on our table still unopened not served without a word, poor table service especially as the restaurant had only one other couple in there.
We chose a mixed starter that after 40 minutes hadn’t arrived so told waiter we’ll finish our drinks and leave. Then 10 minutes later this tiny starter arrived. We decided to try it and it was dry, bland and unappetising like something cheap and frozen that had been nuked in a microwave. We paid for the wine and left even though 2 staff members tried laughingly to intimidate us into paying for their dismal food!
I do not recommend this restaurant.

Been visiting for years and although there has been a change in name, the food and hospitality still remain superb. Plenty of choice on the menu and every meal we have had has always been cooked fresh, extremely tasty with great portion sizes. Keep up the great work guys!

We’ve been here twice in the last few weeks and it has improved so much from the previous establishment ..The British Raj , although the menus still have The British Raj headings at the top of each page & a mirror in the toilet is a Raj one! We loved our time here. The service was second to none and the food was spot on. Plenty of options on the menu and as a vegetarian, I found Plenty of choice. Highly recommend this friendly restaurant and we’ll be back soon.

Wanted to have my favourite food and this was local to me so in I popped. (AND WISHED I DIDNT) had food about 1830. By 11 pm I was suffering with severe stomach cramps and have never had this anywhere before. Trying to leave a trip adviser review but they are not on there. I’d so stick to a restaurant you know and did ask why name change and looked up a few from old name and so so not good.

First time trying since it changed name and management. Not impressed at all. Ordered at 7pm, it arrived at 9.35 and was cold.
They have kept the Bengal Flame on which was good to see, it was nice but the chicken wings starter were tastless and cold. The British Naan has had a change of name but it was cold and like cardboard
