Great bartenders and food, but the new dj literally sucks. Does not play request. Plays edm music no one knows and now on Halloween halloweekend plays a sad song after not playing music for 3 mins.

Traveling from 2 states away, I settled in to Clarion for the night and was hoping for a perfect steak dinner and Merlot.Though the place was not on “meal” time, the host / manager / bartender Joe offered to cook a meal for me. Wow! When does this ever happen? The man has excellent interpersonal skills and is just plain genuine and authentic. I felt so welcome. This only highlighted my delicious dinner. Juicy, tender, delicious rib eye with no over seasoning. Perfect! Don’t miss this place. Joe made the whole experience great. This guy is gonna go far in the culinary / arts theater world.

The captain Loomis bar in Clarion is descent. The staff there is cool and easy going the mixed drinks are pretty good and the prices are amazing. They have great specials during the week, like Tuesdays are their $1 sliced pizza days and $2 yangling beer. Loomis’s pizza is AMAZING I looooove their pizza it reminds me of NYC pizza and that’s rare and hard to come by in Pennsylvania. They have pool tables too and on Tuesdays they pay for your first two rounds of pool so you play for free for two rounds. Loomis is very accommodating and a very chilled place to enjoy whether you’re by yourself or with friends.

Didn’t even know this place was open but I’m glad I discovered it. Staff was friendly. Food was good. Place was quiet on a Thursday evening. The bar is large and there’s plenty of room. I imagine its popular with the college kids.
