”We had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was truly excellent; every dish we ordered was seasoned perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh. You can tell the kitchen team puts a lot of care into the flavors. Our server was exceptionally kind and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we sat down and providing great recommendations. My only small note is that the atmosphere is a little dark. While it makes for a moody, intimate setting, it was a bit difficult to read the menu without a phone light. Overall, a fantastic meal!

Before coming in, I called at 4:30 to make a reservation. The person who answered told me there was plenty of seating and that they “never get busy,” so a reservation wasn’t necessary. Unfortunately, that was not our experience at all.
We ordered two seafood boils and ended up waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes for our food. During that time, we watched multiple to-go orders go out much faster than the meals for customers who were dining in. After waiting over an hour with no food and no updates, we had to call our server over ourselves just to ask what was going on.
I do want to mention that the young lady seating guests at the front was very kind and welcoming. However, our server lacked attentiveness. She didn’t check on us, communicate about the delay, or follow up until we flagged her down.
To make matters worse, when our food finally arrived, the crab legs were half empty and didn’t seem worth the price at all. After such a long wait, that was extremely disappointing.
Waiting that long without updates — especially after being told they “never get busy” — was frustrating and unacceptable. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and we won’t be returning.

We heard alot of good reviews for Captain Crab-so we had to check it out. We were thrilled with sharing a platter of brisket, crabcake, baked beans, white macaroni, and cheese and cornbread. The brisket melted in our mouth and we would definitely get that again. The baked beans were amazing Brisket mixed in. The crabcake was very good. The white cheddar mac & cheese was amazing. The cornbread Was a great ending to a good meal. We will be back.

First time there, we saw it while packing the car from Sams club. Being from Baltimore and growing up on seafood it’s hard to find decent seafood in york so we figured we’d give it a try. Food was well worth it! We got the shrimp and mud bug boil added snow crab it fed 3 of us with leftovers and a order of wings that were amazing! Our waitress Ashleigh (who I saw many people on here give great reviews) was awesome, she was on top of things, very pleasant and very personable so I definitely agree with all the rest of the people who say she’s a great waitress! If you’re looking for somewhere relaxed and just want some good seafood boils head here!

This place is a little slice of heaven hidden away in York county . Literally the best food everytime we go. Amazing portions, amazing prices, & the staff are so welcoming. Overall the best seafood around. We go for date nights and take the kids. There is something for everyone! If you’re looking for seafood and don’t want to travel to Maryland, this place will be your new favorite! 1000/10

Only issue I came across was the adult menu…. Be very careful when reading & ordering, it’s pretty deceitful,,, as in ordering 2lbs. Of crab meal and the price below starts at 1/2 lbs. And goes to 1lb.
I thought that the 2lbs. Was one set price,,, but just watch carefully. Crab legs were heavy and food was plentiful.
I DO RECOMMEND AND WILL RETURN

This is a unique and fun place for a meal! Recommend wearing the provided bib, as things get a little messy but in the best way! My group of five all tried different foods and everything was great. Definitely recommend the shrimp!

our first time trying captain krab, decided to go since we could smell the good smells from the parking lot. the aesthetic and ambiance inside are very nice, with low lighting all around and flickering lights here and there (which should be known for those who are light sensitive). the menu has lots of seafood options (see pictures) and very fair prices. my girlfriend and i shared the E. boil and ended up taking the rest home. the snow crab legs were cooked perfectly. the corn and shrimp were good. our waitress, ashleigh, was extremely nice and wrapped the food up for us. all in all good experience

I can’t say enough about this restaurant. From the second you walk in the atmosphere is great. The decor and vibe of the place is a top-notch crab place. It feels almost like you’re at a crab place at the shore. The service is one of the best in the area. Friendly, accommodating, and great with our elderly family that have a hard time with menus. The food came quickly. Drinks were never empty. We never felt rushed. They can accommodate larger groups or party’s. I am by far NOT sea food person. But theirs was De-licious! I was already thinking about going back the next day.
