Award- winning head chef ‍ Syed Zohorul Islam’s restaurant, The Northern Echo recommends the famous modern Indian Bangladeshi fusion in the North Durham region

BTW,Very, very friendly chef and restaurant team

Starter – Chicken Momo frankly said that I thought it would be the round Xiaolongbao I ate in Chitwan, but it’s more like the tikka chicken roll, but the turmeric with green pepper sauce is very special and delicious
Main – I chose Chef’s signature dish and won the Capital Elective Lamb award at the 2019 India Curry Festival. I chose Spring Lamb, which can be considered a seasonal dish. Although the waiting time was really long [covering my face], it was really delicious!!! Chef also asked if it was my first time trying this dish. Lamb meat is delicious and sweet, with a milky aroma, completely non gamey, and the stewed taste is great. It pairs well with the embellished beans and , Rice, it can only be said to be nutritionally balanced and full of ingredients. I don’t know how to describe it, but I will come back again
There are many other cuisines that I want to eat, and I feel like I will brush at least 5 dishes ➕ in the future

Since my birthday in September 25 we have visited regularly. The food is amazing and the service is fantastic. The staff are helpful and efficient and very very polite. They make the meal extra special. The atmosphere is relaxed and you are not rushed. Children are so welcome too which is fab. The prices are reasonable too. Well worth a visit. 5 stars all round.

Solid Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant overall, similar quality and prices to other Indian/Bangladeshi curry restaurants in Durham. Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi was quite spicy which was a nice surprise.
Atmosphere was bright and lively although I personally find it a little too noisy, but it could be because it was quite full the day we went. Would recommend booking in advance.

Best Indian food I’ve had in a long time, staff excellent, was quiet as you would expect for a Monday night but just what we wanted for a good catch up with friends. We will be attending again in the near future

Ordered at 18:38, no food delivered by 20:31, I rang the restaurant 4 times and was told it was 10 minutes away each time. Absolutely disgraceful. Very, very bitter. Have visited this restaurant many times, will not be returning.
